Respected producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Elderbrook is set to round off the summer with his biggest body of original work to date; the 7 track ‘Talking’ EP, due for release on the 1st September on Kobalt. 

The deluxe EP is a culmination of the many styles that have influenced Alexander Kotz over the course of his career. Moving through various moods and subgenres, it still contains his inimitable vocals and overarching sense of feeling that have come to characterise the Elderbrook sound. 

The first single to come from the full-length production, ‘Woman’, is here! The laid back pace is matched with pitched-down chopped vocals, contrasting with the wistful lyrics. It’s produced by Craven J, but exemplifies Kotz’s unique approach to being a singer and a producer; “phonetics are as important as lyrics. My voice adds another percussive element to the sounds.”

Following his debut So Good, AMERY unveils his second single I Need Lovin'. In this catchy pop song inviting the audience to follow him in his quest for love, he lets his personality fully explode, confessing his timidity through his lyrics, served on a production full of imagery representative of his creative energy.

“Cantuta” is the flower of Peru. I’m American with Peruvian roots, and was raised with both American and Peruvian cultures. I initially started writing a bunch of Future Bass music and I have been diving into more experimental styles of music, so what I wanted to do in this track was gradually have it change from what felt like a future bass tune to a more experimental track. I wanted this to be a representation of my music, both melodic and experimental styles, and show how I decide to change the direction of the track.

In 2013, Chloe Herry entered Mr. Bill's Cheyah remix competition, which was hosted via Gravitas Recordings. After earning second place, label founder Jesse Brede knew he discovered someone special. Constantly inspired by her music, Gravitas had the honor of releasing multiple projects with CloZee, notably Revolution, Harmony, and Evasion. Through the years, she has risen to one of Gravitas's top artists. Now two albums, multiple EPs, and countless singles later, CloZee has emerged as an electronic music phenomenon and pioneer of the world bass genre.
 
As CloZee begins an unprecedented venture with her new Odyzey Records imprint, she is returning to Gravitas to help raise up the next generation of new artists. In collaboration with Gravitas Recordings, CloZee has curated her first ever compilation. Titled Emergence, the compilation champions emerging and established artists in the bass realm, weaving them together in one unified tracklist of 15 songs. In a time of great division and strife, Emergence symbolizes the beauty of collective through hopeful music. From known names such as Fakear and Esseks to rising talent such as NotLö and capshun, Emergence is all about discovery.
