LionFire is a trio of producers (Aries, Gold & Jinx) from the Midlands. The act was formed in 2005 by Aries & Gold, who hit things off in the studio straight away releasing a few 12″s that went on to do really well. In 2008 they welcomed Jinx to the crew and formed Three Lion Studios.

The three have continued to work both as a group and individually releasing on various labels including Co-Lab, Pure Vibez, Lion Dub, Dub Dimensions, Deadly Records & Apex.

Lionfire have just signed 4 tracks to be released on Ray Keith’s Dread recordings and have a lot more to come.

Salima Bouaraour-Shadya is a multifaceted figure active in Montreal’s electronic music scene, journalism, and nightlife.

Producer, co-founder of Chez.Kito.Kat Records, and music journalist for a leading magazine, she has also served on various committees dedicated to rethinking and shaping nightlife culture in Montreal.

For a decade, she was active in Europe as a singer-songwriter and performer within an electroclash band.

Her recent release with French producer Shizuka was featured in UNDERSCOPE’s 2024 selection (Paris). She is also a member of the duo Safia Nihil with her longtime collaborator D.B.Y. Together, they recently released their debut EP, which premiered live at Mutek Festival last summer.

She has performed with numerous electro and techno collectives across Montreal’s underground scene and shared her mixes on Kanal Pompidou (Brussels), Radio Flouka (Paris), and Radio Nopal (Mexico City).

Her new EP, Spread Love, revisits the atmospheric drum’n’bass that shaped her youth, blending it with wider influences. Across two tracks, she explores the harmony between soft kicks, deep basslines, ethereal vocals, layered textures, and piano tones — deep, dreamy, and danceable.

Out on Friday 5th December as part of 'Floodlight: DNB Aid for Jamaica’. A heavyweight 80+ track compilation curated to support communities recovering from Hurricane Melissa. The Drum & Bass scene has stepped up once again, showing what happens when artists, labels and ravers pull together for something bigger than the music. All proceeds go towards rebuilding efforts and community relief. We’ll be sharing a track a day until 19th December. Big love to everyone involved!
