Cool Crap

This is certainly not my best work, but it's a fun little DnB song I've recently finished. Would appreciate any criticism before this goes up on Newgrounds.

One of the main melodies is blatantly based on Starbomb's "Luigi's Ballad."

Lately I've been taking another look at how I do my mixing and mastering, and I believe I've achieved a cleaner result with this track than I have previously. I think this one turned out pretty alright.

Kevin MacLeod ~ Killing Time

This is a remake of an old song, Horizon. It uses some of the same structure, but I changed it up hugely half way through. This is my first time working with/writing lyrics, so I don't think they're the best, but using a vocoder is fun and I'm somewhat happy with how they turned out.

I don't think my mastering is up to scratch in this one, to be honest. I'm completely sick of hearing this song so I'm not really sure what it sounds like. Maybe I'm just holding myself to ridiculous standards after hearing Xilent so much recently.

I've had some comments on my snares, and I'd like to point out that in my drum and bass songs I go for a dubstep kind of snare sound. That is, fat. I like it fat. 

Consequently, this song is loosely based on Au5 and Collin McLoughlin's "Tendril." Good fucking song.

This piece starts BIG. Originally, this piece started slowly and built... and then I got bored and chopped out all the slowness. There are still dynamics, but if you need bigness from the get-go - here's what you get! Vroom! BIG BIG BIG!

The Complex

This was finished around a month ago, but for some reason I just didn't upload it. I don't really know why.

It's extremely similar to previous pieces (except a little better mixed) and so I suppose I'm worried that it'll be another "Winter Star" (previous song that I removed because it was similar to Jetstream.)

This might not be a final version, as I have another 4-5 days to refine to for Newgrounds if I get any major criticism.
