Last year @drdeimos and I decided to tackle remixing one of the songs from Porter Robinson's Worlds that hit us the hardest, combining his ridiculous bass with my ambient and post rock influences to create a world of our own. This time around Deimos has touched up the mixing and mastering on it with some slight production variances. It's just as emotional but it sounds even better.

When I started producing as Runetooth I initially wanted to separate myself from my old work and leave it behind because I didn't feel it represented me anymore. While that remains true for the most part, I still feel like a lot of the chill, ambient and downtempo stuff I experimented with was some of my most honest work even though I'd written it at a time when my writing and mixing knowledge was in it's infancy.

While being honest, I know songs from 6, 7+ years ago are far from my best work so it is with much vulnerability that I share these with you should you want something more relaxed to listen to from me. Even though I don't write much like this anymore, especially as Runetooth, I owe these songs gratitude for being part of the journey to who I am now.

Due to how old these are I've long since lost the project files but I've tried my best to clean up the mastering a little bit prior to posting this. xoxo
