It's fair to say Pleasure Voyage are having a moment. Their rich vein of form continues with the Euforia EP, a deeply dreamy set of tracks made perfect for balmy summer nights. Seductive keys, heavenly flutes and gentle guitar licks combine with classic piano chords for a paradisiacal experience. We are happy to welcome Vietnam born and France raised newcomer NairLess on Slam City Jams. After releases on Radiant Records, Semi Delicious and his own Aurore 404 imprint, the Parisian joins the label with his „First Wave“ EP.

NairLess music is deeply rooted in 90s house music and these tunes are a perfect example for that: „First Wave“ and „Rising Edge“ are a nod to early Progressive House with deep pads, sparkling synths and driving percussive elements. „Space Union“ is a bouncy house tune build around a catchy organ melody from everyones favorite digi synth. To round things off we have rising star Running Hot on remix duties who turns the title track up a notch with lovely rave stabs that will tear up some festival stages this summer.

This one’s dedicated to all the lovers! 🥰 After having the best time playing at their party last year Cuddles asked if I would do a mix for their series. At the time I didn’t really have any ideas for a mix and I didn’t want to just churn out another general club promo mix but I’ve always wanted to do some kind of Valentine’s themed mix and it seemed like it would fit pretty well with the idea of the party. Rather than just doing a mix slow jams or whatever I wanted to try and keep the mix quite uptempo and I like a challenge so I decided I would only include tracks that had the word ‘love’ in the title. So here it is, one hour of euphoric house-ish ruminations on love! 😘❤️

Kicking things off with 'Bad For The Body, Good For The Soul', four brand new dancefloor-ready cuts from the man himself ready for some heavy rotation this summer. “Local Dealer” gets us started with rattling percussion, moody strings and vocal cuts reminiscent of some forgotten 90s NY classic before “Doggo’s Groove” heads into slicker disco-fueled territory to complete the A-side. Flip things over for “Hippy Disco”, a peak time filter house inspired big room roller, before “Cali” doffs the cap to the smooth sound of early 2000s San Francisco.

Dance for Relief is a project that's been on our minds for a while as a way using our music to help raise funds for causes that we are passionate about. With the world currently struggling with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic now felt like it would be the right time to get this project started.

The first project under this banner is a compilation of edits, remixes and secret weapons from various friends, with Volume 1 focusing on cosmic, tribal and trancey sounds of the 90s.

All money from this release will go straight to Direct Relief (directrelief.org), a charity who's mission is to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies, and who are doing great work to ensure that protective gear and critical care medications get to as many health workers as possible. We felt they were a particularly both in the midst of current Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.

Finally, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all the artists involved who have given their skills and time during a difficult period to help make this release happen in support of a worthy cause.
