Helsloot Presents a Stunning New Take on Sailor & I’s Classic ‘Best of Me’.

‘Best of Me’ has already lived several lives. Originally released in 2020 with Ukrainian duo ARTBAT on Get Physical’s sister label METAPHYSICAL, the track quickly became a melodic techno anthem. The year after, Sailor & I included his own original album mix on Diving For Lost Treasure, showcasing its depth as a vocal- driven piece. Now, in 2025, Dutch producer Helsloot breathes new life into this modern classic as part of his Body Language Vol. 27 compilation for Get Physical.

This marks the fifth single taken from the campaign leading up to the album’s release on November 14. Helsloot takes the unforgettable vocal and frames it in a fresh, indie-dance leaning style. His version rides on a reduced yet hypnotic bassline and crisp synth layers, perfect for late-night drives or sunrise moments. Traditional breakbeat elements weave into the track’s groove, creating a balance between modern melodic house energy and a nod to classic electronic forms. At the centerpiece sits Sailor & I’s vocal, left exposed in a dramatic break before Helsloot’s soaring synths take over in full force.

For Helsloot, known globally for his 600M+ streaming hit ‘Because You Move Me’ with Tinlicker and his acclaimed debut album Never Tried, this remix reflects his ability to honor iconic material while making it entirely his own. It continues the narrative of Body Language — a series that started as DJ mixes in the early 2000s and has since evolved into curated artist albums, with Helsloot at the helm for its 27th edition.
‘Best of Me (Helsloot Version)’ is a powerful continuation of the track’s legacy.

For Aiwaska, this marks his second outing on Get Physical after his acclaimed ‘303 Mystery’ EP in 2024. A mysterious yet prolific producer with over three decades of experience, Aiwaska has crafted a signature style that fuses organic textures, ethnic instrumentation, and deep basslines into forward-thinking house productions. His music is not only rooted in the club but also tied to larger artistic and ecological visions, from Grammy voting campaigns with Roland Clark to wildlife protection initiatives spotlighted in Times Square. Joining him is the endlessly versatile Thomas Gandey. Known for his work under aliases such as Cagedbaby and Tribe of Good, Gandey’s cult status has been cemented through decades of releases on influential imprints like Innervisions, Kompakt, and Planet E. Both a studio wizard and a sought-after vocalist, he has lent his unmistakable voice to tracks for Hot Since 82, Blond:ish, and Pleasurekraft, while crafting over 200 remixes across his career. Whether behind the decks or on the microphone, Gandey’s passion for synths and boundary-pushing production has kept him at the forefront of electronic music.

With ‘Lucid Dreams’, Aiwaska and Gandey have created a work that respects house music’s foundations while embracing a modern, cinematic energy. mOat, the enigmatic UK collective, bring their signature depth and cinematic production style, known for releases on Diynamic, Aus, and Armada, and remixes from legends like Âme, DJ Tennis, and Gerd Janson. Their sound fuses emotional resonance with club energy — a perfect complement to Carl Bee’s driving rhythms.
