Three days ago, on September 11th, Linval Carter a.k.a. Prince Jazzbo passed away at the age of 62. Today Dubbhism Deluxe releases a new Prince Jazzbo track. With mixed feelings, but also with a cause: we want to raise donations for the Prince Jazzbo Fund.

Earlier this year foundation dj and reggae producer Prince Jazzbo was diagnosed with lung cancer, and recently this disease weakened him very fast. That's when the wonderful Julie 'Zimma' White started the Prince Jazzbo Fund to help her friend. She was able to raise enough funds to improve Jazzbo's comfort level significantly during the final days of his battle with the disease. And many others also helped.

The preparations for 'What a Tribulation' actually started in January 2013. After the first bad news reached us, the project was quickly finished and all producers involved donated their tracks to the Prince Jazzbo Fund. The release was already set for September 14th when we heard the saddest news three days ago. We decided to proceed, hoping to raise extra funds. In Julie's words: "all funds will now go to help ensure that our Jazzbo has the best service that we can provide, and hope to make sure all of his children can be in attendance".

FOKUS Biography:
Ivan Andrijasevic, alias Fokus, has been into music since 2003. The very first genre that occupied his mind was hip hop - dynamic vocals, 'fat' bass lines and drum patterns, virtuous scratches, and intelligent sampling. As time progressed, this firm musical foundation evolved into dub, dubstep, and eventually reggae-influenced drum 'n' bass which is the cornerstone of his production today. Dub, both as musical genre and philosophy, has had a major impact on Fokus' production reflecting balance, harmony, and modesty in terms of sampling and the use of effects. Stylewise, the atmosphere in songs varies from relaxing ambient to dark and minimal, but it never drifts away from the core idea that music should maintain the thought-provoking function and thus entertain the listener in a more sophisticated fashion. So far, Fokus has released more than 20 EP's and one LP and has performed in many countries including Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, Spain and the USA

KIILO KILLO Biography: 
I collaborated with many great dj's and producers from the global club network (Dunkelbunt, Kosta Kostov, Shazalakazoo, DJ Click, Ufoslavians, La Cherga etc.), and have been a part of many great parties in cities like Paris, Cologne, Rio, Geneve, Brussells, Budapest, Ljubljana, Dortmund, Vienna etc.
Anyway, my style when playing is all the way from cumbia and tropical stuff to balkan, dancehall or even moombahton and afro house...

My "advantage", if one can call it like that, is that I use my MC skills to enhance my DJ sets, so I am actually two guys in the body of a dancing bear ;)
