‘Voices For Palestine’ is a global broadcast of solidarity aiming to highlight voices from around the world expressing their support, solidarity and love for the Palestinian people. The broadcast took place as a sonic protest against the Israeli state military bombardment of the people of Gaza, that is still ongoing right now.

Involving contributors from around the world, including music, soundscapes, voices + sounds from street protests globally, as well as interviews with activists around the world expressing solidarity and love for Palestine, ‘Voices For Palestine’ calls for an end to the Israeli state policies of apartheid and occupation.

Munma - Lights Out

'Three Voices' is the first vinyl release from Lebanese electronic artist Jawad Nawfal aka MUNMA. The album is marked by several vocal collaborations, a departure in style for this pioneer of Beirut's electronic scene of the 2000's. The album is produced and released by Lebanese alternative label Ruptured, in June 2016.

Fadi Tabbal, lead guitarist with Lebanese psychedelic rock band The Incompetents and various other alternative outfits, self-released his second solo album, “Museum of Disappearing Buildings”, in November 2015. 
The album will be re-released in October 2017 in a limited vinyl edition of 300 copies by Lebanese label Ruptured and Portland-based indie label Beacon Sound.

"Murur Al-Kiram", the new album by Lebanese post-rock ensemble KINEMATIK, uses electronics, intricate double-drumming, guitar and bass to construct ambient soundscapes and hypnotic, propulsive rhythms - conjuring the ghosts of a diminishing future, as well as an unresolved past. Subtle in both angst and joy, "Murur Al-Kiram" celebrates small victories in the face of great defeats.

Tarek Atoui - Un-drum 3 [The Ruptured Sessions Vol. 2, 2010]

Lebanese indie label Ruptured was founded in 2008 by music promoter/radio producer Ziad Nawfal and sound engineer/producer Fadi Tabbal from Tunefork Studios, as an outlet for their activities as music producers and promoters in Beirut. 
Ruptured aims to release material by Lebanese and international artists, with a strong focus on alternative rock, electronic and experimental music.
