The orb lurched ahead, a beacon illuminating the traveler's path. However, each step grew harder - as if a nest of serpents had entwined around the traveler's limbs. Progress became slow and painful, this unsettling sensation giving rise to an inquisitive thought that gnawed at their mind—what was the origin of this orb, and could it be fully trusted?

As if the orb could peer into the traveler’s thoughts, it came to a sudden halt - pulsing with a serene aura. The traveler, hesitating momentarily, couldn't resist the temptation to approach, seeking to uncover its secrets.

Approaching the orb was like stepping into a cool breeze. Its core shone brilliantly, radiating an overwhelming energy. Drawing nearer to the heart of this mysterious light, the traveler peered within. Lying before them - a remarkable sight.

There, within the orb's luminous core, shone a reflection of themselves. However, It was not the self burdened by doubt, fear, and anxiety. No, here was their true self, unencumbered and decisive.

A sense of warmth filled the traveler’s chest, akin to an embrace from within. Slowly, they blinked, and as their eyes opened once more, the oppressive gazes began to dissipate; clouds parting before the sun. The silhouette of the forest beyond gradually took shape in the thick mist - no longer eluding them as it had before. At last, they could see their surroundings as they were.

I can't believe Animal Crossing: New Horizons is already 5 YEARS OLD?? I wrote this song to commemorate the cozy little game that kept me sane during the early days of the pandemic. 

While on the surface the lyrics might seem like those of a typical love song, dig a little deeper and you'll find that they transform into a love letter to the game itself, our perfect little island getaway amidst the chaos of the real world. I hope you enjoy this return to that familiar, digital beach.

Patrice5 (@patrice55) and I now present track 8 in our collaborative concept album in progress, "Altitude". Patrice5 composed, mixed and recorded his part on 12 Octotber 2025 in MAGIX, and I composed, mixed and recorded my part, improvising on Akai MPK mini keyboard controller connected to Logic Pro, in the evenings of 21 and 22 November 2025, when I also combined our two parts, arranged, mixed and recorded this collaborative track in Logic Pro. Patrice5 then came up with the final mix, arrangement and recording on 23 November 2025 in MAGIX. We release it now on SoundCloud, in this late Sunday evening (in Europe) of 30 November 2025, and hope you'll enjoy it.

The artwork cover for our album "Altitude" (2025) and all tracks in it uses a photo shot by Alex M on 26 September 2025 cropped and annotated by Alex M in Mac OS Preview on 29 September 2025 - in coordination and agreement with Patrice5.
