Summer 2018, we released The Sweat on E-Missions. In a literal sense, this was the rebirth of the Rush Plus project. New melodies, challenging polyrhythm and aggressive sound design were the focal points for this record and subsequently propelled us farther down that road in future projects.

My first solo release in 2 years is an album under my birth name and released on May 1 2020. I made this music here in New York City, where the Covid-19 virus has caused tremendous grief and anxiety, as it probably has done the same wherever you are reading this.

This is 54 minutes of music made to soothe and give a sense of peace. Since we are not able to physically share space, we have to send our empathy and support to each other in different ways. This is my way of sending it to you, the people who have supported me in so many ways.

With previous releases on Monday Off, L.A.G., and Dusk & Haze, Arthur brings his music home to Metro Xpress in May 2020 with Vamps Like Us - a 4-track EP powering through the iconically equal parts hypnotic, shimmering, and pummeling Kimskii sound.
