Here you have the third installment of our Pole Group 50 milestone release, closing the trilogy in both Vinyl and digital formats. 

All tracks have been made in common, each of the label foundational members have work sound parts that in a second process have been assigned randomly to others to work with them, in a creation loop that becomes somehow the true essence of the label. You’ll never now who is making what, it’s just Oscar Mulero, Exium and Reeko in essence and mixed up.

The tracklist features for cuts, startimg with the broken beated Necton, followed by Prokariotic, obscure, grey and heavy textured. On the B side, Replican Isolation offers complex rythms, non linear kicks, and diverse percussive workout s`piced with white noise drones. Stanislav Tolkachev - Influx (Flug Remix) [DST002 | A2 | Premiere]

New reference introducing the Polish producer Szmer, who brings us three wild and dynamic cuts followed by two outstanding remixes. On the A side the artist builds this release defending the sounds of the old school, sucking from the Detroit Techno and abusing of the well-known TR-909 drum machine in a very pleasant way. Raw aesthetics and exceptional rhythmic work could perfectly describe the first three tracks of the package. On the B side we have the remixes of Uun and Vertical Spectrum, providing the dose of darkness and mysticism that makes this one a very attractive and interesting release.

UK techno don Jay Clarke joins the Soma ranks with The Kicker. Jay has started making his mark on the global techno scene with some serious releases via the awesome Klockworks label, and of course his own BLACKAXON imprint. Jay’s sound is characterised by elements of straight-up intense techno, blended with deeper Detroit-esque elements, culminating in a unique and well-produced style.

Straight Through opens up Jay’s Soma account and focuses firmly on the dance floor. Looped out, driving percussive elements push the track as hypnotic synths keep the rhythm flowing. Overlook has a tribalistic feel to it as wooden percussion work into a perfectly orchestrated groove allowing chopping hi hats and rides to deliver intensity as swelling atmosphere keep things ominous. Taking things down a deeper path, The Spark bounds with a well-crafted groove as spatial synth work brings more melodic and emotive aspects to the forefront. Title track The Kicker offers up the most diverse sounding cut on the EP with broken beat rhythms and discordant, almost jazzy synths breathing a distinct life throughout the track.

Avec la track Drama, on embarque pour un voyage à la fois voluptueux et angoissant, lumineux et sombre. Une track pleine de contrastes à l'image de l'E.P, sorte d'âme torturée qui erre pour trouver son éternelle quiétude. Dans la lignée esthétique des grands noms de la techno atmosphérique italienne tels que Donato Dozzy (@donato-dozzy), Dino Sabatini (@dino-sabatini), ou Giorgio Gigli (@giorgiogigli) et inspiré par les atmosphères enveloppantes du décor cyberpunk de Blade Runner, Drama s’écoute comme une pièce sonore empreinte d’un espoir virginal.
