Spanish space-disco stalwart Rayko will return to the Nang label with his Rebirth LP later this spring, and has shared the appropriately galactic cut "Time & Space (Cosmic Club Version)" as a preview of that forthcoming record. 

Moving at a steady pace, Rayko's dancefloor-ready tune weaves together an acid-touched bassline with bursting percussion. As "Time & Space (Cosmic Club Version)" builds momentum, ambient piano chords and ethereal synths make their way into the piece, shifting the atmosphere towards a more relaxed vibe in the astral soundscape. 

The rest of Rayko's retro-inspired Rebirth LP can be heard when it drops on May 12.

Ramrock Red Records are immensely chuffed to be unleashing ‘La Belle Bouche’ EP - the debut release from D.Foe, two reclusive, creative dropouts, who guard their privacy fiercely, making Daft Punk look like garrulous bon viveurs. The EP starts off with the dreamy and hugely evocative ‘The Heat’ – I close my eyes and I’m back in 1965 at the poolside’s edge in a chic Riviera hotel rocking a huge straw hat and sunglasses sipping a Campari. This is what a mirage sounds like…..’6ixty 8ight’ and the ‘D.Funk’ remix of the same track hark back to the halcyon days of Acid Jazz, Mo’ Wax + Talkin’ Loud all rolled into one. ‘Love and Hate’ is like an Italian Job car chase on steroids – tough jazz drumming, flute, sax interceptions, Hammond stabs – it’s all going on. And finally, ‘Priti Vacant’ featuring Mark Professor – draw your own conclusions – this ain’t no love song.
D.Foe are formally part of a ridiculously influential 1990’s music collective who saw no boundaries between genres, blurring the edges of the production process when working with music legends including Bowie, Pete Shelly, Grand Master Flash, Viv Stanshall, Mad Professor, Rico, Ian Dury and Brian Auger. They are true arbiters of taste, Sherpas of Sound scaling the steep + sometimes perilous inclines of Punk to descend into the valleys of LSD laced 60’s psyche and peak again on the MDA fueled outpourings of the 80’s. Tearing up the rule book and without revealing their identities, they are ranked amongst the very first to scratch, sample and loop; mixing, blending and mashing up Hip Hop, Jazz, Dub, Disco, Ska, Soul, Latin, and Funk.
