The Altered Presbyterian

This is some of my polymetric harp music.  The left hand is playing a repeating pattern in 12 on metal strings, the left hand a pattern in 47 (12+12+12+11) on gut strings.  The tuning is 8, 9, 10, 45/32, 12, 14, 15.

Another polymetric piece.  Left hand has a pattern in twelve, right hand in 23 (12 + 11), but staggered, so the complete number of beats is 12 x 23 x 2= 544.  But I goof and end prematurely this time.  Such is life.

Another 12/47 piece, this time in a more conventional tuning.

Another 47/12er.  I find this pattern a good one to start the day with: it's somehow goodhumored.

Another 23/12 polymetric piece.  This one sounds particularly like the musical form perhaps closest to mine, the traditional ringing the changes by church bells in England.
