Sometime around 2010, my friend Grant Prettyman ( @belhummmm ) and I recorded this song, "Discover" in our dumpy little house in Nashville and released a music video as @danwardforth. Its still out there if you look hard enough...

Flash forward to February 2017 - out of the blue I get an email asking me and some other producers to make some bangers for SeaWorld's new dance-show, Electric Ocean. (The full album is on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/album/5qyznrnsZqazi9xDWvqd5a )

Deadline approaching, I needed one more song, and they requested that it had vocals.  I'd already made this bouncy little beachy chord progression, so I dig through some old files to see if I had any forgotten, but usable vocals. There it was, calling back to me. "Discover." I dropped the vocal track into the project to see if it would fit... BOOM! Like a glove!  From there I made a drop/chorus and screwed around with some of my vocals to add character.
