Righteous Indignation

My name is Russ Cheney, I'm a student in Calgary, Alberta Canada. I've created a post- apocalyptic landscape using Native Instrument's Absynth and Heavyocity's Evolve Mutations via Ableton Live. I also recorded a heavily de-tuned guitar. I've been a musician for over ten years but it wasn't until my first sound class at Alberta College of Art + Design that I started to really experiment. I enjoy creating narratives through sound as well as ambient, evolving textures. I listen to alot of instrumental music and feel that it conveys emotion with great accuracy. I believe it to be a natural transition from sonic storytelling to film scoring. I haven't written with visuals but am hoping to start soon.
