Release Info: 
After the first joint release on the well-anticipated Music From Space compilation in October 2021, Marc Romboy and Oniris appear with their second track First Blush. This time as a solo release with an additional treat of a remix by Extrawelt.

First Blush was made, after Marc Romboy went down to South of France for a studio session in the studio of Oniris earlier last year. Oniris is a long-time friend, who previously released on Bedrock, Ovum and of course Astropolis. First Blush is a melodic stomper which has been in many playlists throughout some well known DJs over the past few months already.

And since Marc is a fan of the two guys from Extrawelt, it was a meant-to-be situation when they confirmed their remix right away - even though their studio schedule is definitely one of the busiest around with releasing an album almost every year. The Extrawelt remix of First Blush creates an additional touch of what they are known for and rounds up the package in a perfectly nice way.

Marc Romboy has been at the forefront of electronic music for over a decade. He’s released on some of the industry’s most refined labels including Gruuv, Ovum and 20/20 Vision to name a few. After studying countless composers of the last centuries, the German composer, DJ and producer of electronic music regularly pushes boundaries with sound having performed at the Planetarium of Bochum, near Düsseldorf with a show inspired by space. Marc’s Systematic Recordings imprint celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2019 and has featured artists such as Stephan Bodzin, Robert Babicz, Jimpster, Sébastien Léger among others.

Chicola has been DJ-ing for many years and he's released on Lost & Found, microCastle and Sudbeat amongst others, while talented Dj and producer Sahar Z has had his music grace Bedrock, Lost & Found and Sudbeat. So a collaboration on Rusted is the perfect home for these guys.
Hallucinate is a brooding deep yet minimalistic techno groove, laced with trippy melodies and fx, sprinkled with funky percussion, while along along gently twisting your mind. A bit of a monster really..!
Taking us tougher, we finding Morning Glory. This techno gem unfurls its power from the off, with its fierce bassline paving the way. Its pretty relentless in its approach as it just keeps going along, knocking everything out of its way, signposted by mad synth stabs, cool fx and general nuttiness. Solid!

‘Maasai’ is the Thirty-second release of Aftertech Records. For this the Berlin duo Techno Frühstück returns to the label, together with Modest Crow. Which resulted into an excellent combination of power, groove and melody. This powerful EP is topped off with amazing remixes by Alex Preda and Ariose.

The title track Maasai will be a killer track on the dancefloor. African screams fill the air while a deep growling bassline makes the ground tremble. It has a dark feeling to it yet it is very upbeat. Ominous specials effects and crystal droplets are the perfect addition to the feel of this track. For us it is clear, this track will turn many clubs upside-down!

Following the Stardancer EP and his remix for All I Need To Get High by Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, Ae:ther unveils his most accomplished and daring work yet on the highly anticipated debut album Me released on Crosstown Rebels.

Blazing a trail with his natural aptitude for crafting emotive, captivating compositions that have landed him releases on Crosstown Rebels Afterlife and Fabric, Ae:ther presents his debut LP. The album is a painstakingly produced collection of haunting melodies and narcotic rhythms that display his love and inspiration for ambient electronica, deep underground music and introspective atmospheres, culminating in dreamlike soundscapes programmed with taut percussion. The album begins on Stardancer, setting the tone with gentle keys and space influenced licks that portray a cosmonaut ascending into the stratosphere. This moves into the glistening, atmospheric Finferli, where synths depict aliens conversing in a distant, just-discovered world. Sub-aquatic ambient fills We’ll be Together, boosts of energy and intricate melodies weave in and out of the vocal,
locked to the dubby groove.

Ice cold subtlety and the otherworldly electronics of Costes drip slowly like water down a pane of glass. A mood of relaxation and weightlessness continues on Tina, a tender beat combined with pattering echoed chimes. N.62, a special ethereal piece, features warm chords and reduced percussion, gradually developing like the morning sun rising.

Mysterious, playful charm unfurls on Elf, progressive harmony teases towards a crescendo before dropping back into the hypnotic beat. Clark is light and airy, funky melody constructing an interplanetary anthem. Stimulating a brooding mood, fuzzy clicks and glitches dance on the deep bass of Spektre II, conveying dust spraying off the surface of a moon landing. The shimmering ripples of electronica on title track Me fuse with delicate human vocals creating a heart-warming, personal account of Ae:ther’s relationship with his instruments. Trademark bleeps and blips wash over natural broken beats in one last final call to his utopia in the album outro.

'Yoshitoshi Celebrates 25 Years with Three Genre-Focused Compilations : House, Techno, Melodic House.

For the Melodic House edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we’ve focused on the tracks that were either too proggy for house or too melodic for techno. Many house historians would claim that this sound has been Yoshitoshi’s bread and butter throughout the years, and this final entry into the Yoshitoshi 25 compilation series demonstrates exactly why. As with the other two compilations, we’ve selected a handful of freshly remastered, stone-cold classics such as PQM’s “You Are Sleeping (Luke Chable Mix),” Valentino’s “Flying,” and Morel’s “True (The F****t Is You - Deep Dish Remix),” and mixed them up with the most memorable modern records from Yoshitoshi’s catalogue like OC & Verde’s “Indica,” Khainz’s “Collider,” and Red Axes’ remix of Dino Lenny’s “I Feel Stereo.” Of course the package wouldn’t be complete without some new remixes, so Sharam and Armonica have delivered some beautifully-crafted reworks of Yoshitoshi classics. Sharam takes on Luzon’s mega-classic “The Baguio Track,” turning the tune into a dark roller that has been the talk of his recent Burning Man sets. Armonica crafted an amazing remix of Anarcrusan’s “In My Mind” that winds gracefully between delicate, dreamy riffs and bouncy, bass-driven breakdowns. The final package is a perfect way to end the Yoshitoshi 25 series, giving both new listeners and longtime fans of the label an expansive view of the label’s legacy.
