Red Stripe Disco takes you to a journey into some unexplored musical territories, going through genres for which Jamaica was not especially known for, such as Disco, Modern Soul, Boogie or Funk and even Disco Rap!

The music selected here is recorded from the actual original records & is the result of countless hours of research for some of the records played!

Dj, produtor, habilidoso baterista e entusiasta das controladoras, Joschka Seibt ajudou a construir o Set Ao Vivo de Max Graef, apresentado através do canal Boiler Room e se transformou em seu companheiro no Tour realizada em 2014 na Europa. As suas habilidades musicais o levaram a um papel central na Max Graef Band como diretor de ritmo e baterista da banda. Em fevereiro, o artista lançou seu disco solo através da gravadora Money $ex Records.

TPS 026 - Take me back to Jamaica

Here comes volume 5 of my "Modern Soul Bangers" selections. It's been a few weeks since I wanted to record this one & eventually found enough free time to put this one together. 

The selection is made of records I have been catching since I recorded previous volume, about one year ago. It ranges from slow & mid tempo stuffs to more dancers kind of tunes, it has a couple of AOR songs, a few gospel joints, early 80's boogie / modern soul things, two steps etc. Songs taken from all formats (7", 12" & LP cuts) - all from OG records. 

Really happy of the selection for this one as it contains some very rare cuts, as well as some classics.
