We're thrilled to present "Summer Selections 03," featuring four deep and lush cuts. In this edition, we have handpicked new tracks by label veterans Dezza, Claes Rosen, Espen, and Shane Robinson to complement your summer travel experiences, from scenic drives to revitalizing trips to the beach.

Kicking off the EP, Dezza delivers the deliciously deep and sensual "True," a late-night anthem with an impossibly infectious groove. Fresh off his hit remix of Vintage & Morelli's "Desire," which was supported on radio by Above & Beyond, Dezza continues to craft emotive and layered, yet club-friendly compositions, a niche that he has truly mastered in his decade-long career. We affectionally welcome back Swedish virtuoso Claes Rosen, one of the very first artists to sign with our imprint, for a characteristically melodic and sun-kissed take on Justin Oh's classic, "Good Morning." Summer-flavored instrumentation and a buoyant, yet chilled house groove unite to create an uplifting soundscape. Globally recognized progressive house artist and fellow Silk veteran Espen follows suit with "So Blue," an atmospheric, after-hours gem. Evocative, cinematic textures permeate the other-worldly soundscape from start to finish. Closing out the release, esteemed Irish veteran Shane Robinson submerges the listener into even deeper terrain with "Crystalline," which centers on a cavernous groove and moody, if not foreboding, pads.

The stunning piano lines during the break enhance the tenderness and you can't help but to fall into a slumber as it serenades you so effortlessly. As this was one of the tracks that these producers did as a live event, it's even more amazing that they captured such a melt worthy melodic essence that speak volumes in how much this genre can reach out to us. Impacting you even within the first few minutes of playing, this one will always be a recurring production that revives the glimmer of much needed emotion.

Five years ago, we were introduced to the music of American composer Dan Sieg, who, at the time, was producing under the banner of "Dan & Sam." There are typically only a few newcomers to our musical niche each year who completely awe us with their talent; Dan was truly one of those artists. The demo in question was "Breaking The Illusion," which we ultimately released in October 2012. It quickly became a fan favorite that year and remains one of our most beloved releases, in our label's decade-long existence.

Flashing forward to the present: we have now had the privilege of working with Dan on numerous releases. Choosing to use his given name and surname, "Dan Sieg," in recent years to showcase his eclectic, distinct, and always visionary brand of electronic music, he has now released an artist album with us ("A Sense Of Wonder"), as well as various EPs, ranging in genre from drum & bass to progressive house. It's our great privilege to showcase his wonderful musical contributions to our imprint via "Dan Sieg / Dan & Sam 01," an artist retrospective.

With an always fresh mindset and new ideas, we welcome back the German producer Leon Beilmann for another smashing summer-ish progressive production on our PHW roster as we see his newest baby “Smile” come to daylight together with us. It has that brilliant uplifting feel of melodic arrangements and chord progressions that we so often want to highlight through our PHW roster. It’s truly one for the sunny skies, doing the beach walks during the holidays and we are excited as always to bring on new material from him through the label. 

In this package, you are to hear another 2 versions, bringing back some true talent on the label once again as we first up see the duo of Aria Deep join us again. With a couple of releases with us in the past year, they are definitely building a name on the scene with their sun-drenched music and here is another one that meet our expectations from them. It’s warm, melodic and has that edge that definitely is needed from the summer months.

Hailing from India, we see another entrance from the super talented Dextrose who once more delivers in fine style together with us, as he joins back for another remix. This is a true delivery of what this producer is capable of as he puts a great touch on his remix, full of chords, melodies and a superfresh vibe that is made for the floors.

Finnish finesse features in boundless energy through the effervescent sounds of Movement Machina. A rising star in the dance music firmament finds a sprinkling of stardust at the inception of a glittering Anjuna career. Taking "No for an Answer", organic and synthetic blend in a whirlpool of melodic counterpoint. The sun shines brightly lighting up a coruscating arpeggio sequence as hypnotic and eloquent as the eddying current in their kaleidoscopic colour of refracted movement. Cerulean blue skies find a place in the "Real Regal"; delays shimmer in the glistening azure ocean, their tessellate array casting infinitely shifting patterns through glassy waters as filtered melody revels in analogue mutability.

A crescendo of euphoric sound bursts open in glorious bloom, the gently pulsating audio waves tie nature's sound in delightful hypnotic unison. A maelstrom of noise tamed through a conduit of bright fluidity.

In constant state of flux, a bold, bright colourful world revolves in Movement Machina.
