DJ Flex is a DJ and radio host from Leeds, UK with a passion for music and the universe. After starting out on his cousin’s turntables 15 years ago, he has been playing clubs in the UK for the last 10 years. 

Growing up, his dream was to become an astronaut. All grown up, he had to face a hard truth: Chances of him setting foot on the moon were quite slim. So he came up with the next best thing: A musical space mission. This mission was to be guided by a simple question: What would be the first song you would play in space?

His „Infinite Beats Show“ has now been running for over a year. Hosted by DJ Flex himself, he always invites various guests to share their take on the space mission. At the time of this airing, the show has ventured into uncharted territory 58 times. 

Besides running his own show, DJ Flex has been playing on various UK radio waves and podcasts such as BBC, DJ City, Fresh FM Leeds as well as radio shows worldwide.

I decided to take myself out of my zones to find out what can I truly achieve and heal in solitude. That goal took me on a road where at times, there was loneliness, and a long-time friend, self-doubt appeared. 

Returned to my roots while I was away and rediscovered gems on my hard drives dated back to my High-school days, a time where the next thing we looked forward to was that party on Saturday Night at Cook St or Grace Hall (RIP).  

This mix reminded me of laughter, freedom, aggression, community, family, movement, love, and overall a good ass time. 

This is my black-ass love letter to Jersey. 
I may leave you but, you will never leave me.
