Dear beautiful days Rusty Shackle are a five piece hugely talented Alternative Folk band from South Wales.
Formed in early 2010 the Rusty Shackle create a rustic old time sound that conjures up imagery of Mississippi steam boats, seedy show girls, and bar room brawls with a unique modern twist. 
There music can be described as Folk, Celtic and old time Blues, throwing together Guitar, Fiddle, Banjo, Bass, Drums and Percussion to give the natural ingredients of their unique take on Contemporary folk music.
The majority of the music played is original material and they have a repertoire of well over 2 hours of original fast paced music.

Recent appearances at the Great British Folk Weekend at Butlins Skegness, Green Man Festival, Folk Festival of Britain, they appeared at Manchester city Etihad Stadium some 6 weeks ago and a host of smaller Festivals last year, "3 am" their new single was Radio Wales single of the week in October, they are on the up and up! and amazing live! they really get the audience moving, a real crowd pleaser.
They have just released there 1st Album called "Wash Away These Nights" in February 2012 early feedback from this has been amazing.
The band consists of
Liam Collins Lead singer  Instruments: Vocals, guitar, piano, organ and harmonica
Scott McKeon Instruments: Fiddle, banjo and vocals
James McKeon Instruments: Guitar and vocals
Baz Barwick Instruments: Bass guitar, mandolin and vocals
Owen Emmanuel Instruments: Drums and percussion
Rusty Shackle progress is really "rocking" at the moment, take a look at the below link..... had an exciting couple of weeks the band played at the Olympic torch celebrations 2 Fridays ago in Cardiff in front of 16000 people, then played 2 sets at the Acoustic Festival of Great Britain a couple of weekends ago too, just wondering if any spaces are available ? the guys really want to play your Festival. 
We have this week learned that we are playing in Hyde Park in August as Part of the main Olympic celebrations, a big piece of news for the band, in addition have been booked for the following 2012 festivals Folk by the Oak, Monmouth, Brownstock, Big Cheese, St Donats, Oxjam Gloucester, The Welsh Warrior and a host of smaller Festivals.
