“All of your fave mainstream Southern rappers came out of the regional New Orleans "Bounce" scene. Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Ying Yang Twins and even Beyonce all have strong ties to this music and its insistent, booty-rumbling rhythms have been borrowed for many hits over the years. "Get Me Bodied," "Back That Azz Up," and "Get Low" are just a few examples, but there are plenty more. The most interesting thing about this music is, like Brazilian funk carioca, much of it is never pressed on vinyl or even "released." I'm DJ, producer and artist manager from New Orleans, Louisiana. I've been a drummer for most of my life and switched to DJ’ing after hurricane Katrina ended all 5 of the bands I played with. In my time since 2005 I've toured the world playing with and managing artists from New Orleans like Bounce artists Big Freedia, Nicky da B, Ha Sizzle and Katey Red, among others. My musical style is highly improvisational and focuses on live remixes and mashups of songs from multiple genres, decades and styles, with a focus on New Orleans music and global electronic music.

I'm also half of Chore Boys.
