one upon a time we went to the House of Nanking restaurant and as we sat down a quarter-pounder cockroach strolled down the counter. nobody was bothered and we stayed and ate 'cuz the food was so damn good. still a favorite and inspiration for this exotic musical dish called House of Nanking Blues.
