Brand-new for you and hot off the mastering whatchamacallit, I want you to hear the voice of the magnanimous Naptown Slim. 

I produced the bulk of the track about three weeks ago, wrote some #BARS yesterday afternoon, recorded em, mixed it down, ran it over to Defame for the BANGS…and here you have it. I give it to you. 

I have it placed in the sequence of ‘LOWER’. I knew as soon as I finished it where it needed to go. I really hope y’all enjoy ‘LOWER’ as a full album. It’s truly a double album, man. I’m happy with what I’ve chosen to make the cut and I think it flows really well. I think it’s gonna rock your face. 

I just wanted to lay some bang on y’all, man. Enjoy. Lemme know what you think.

I had to do it. So funky. So free. 

I'm really happy with this album I just finished, y'all. There's still stuff to finish (artwork, who gonna put this out? Maybe Imma put it out myself?) but the music itself is done, mastered and ready to go.  

I believe 'LOWER' is a great representation of myself, as an artist, as a producer, as a spirit. I put the time into it to make it so. Once again, as on 'The Tinkerer', every sound, every word, every thought is mine. There's a variety of influences and sounds all over this 19 track album; I like a lotta shit, yo...but I believe it's a really cohesive piece of work. 

I can never keep this stuff to myself, so there's already a playlist with DIY videos on my Youtube. Promotion and getting the work done go hand-in-hand for me. We're tryna get something started. 

Thanks for rocking with me and #ATFU, folks. Please feel free to leave feedback and/or share what's going on over here with your people. That's how the word gets to where it's supposed to go.

Peace peace...

This was recorded for 'LOWER'. Definitely fun, kinda the companion piece to 'Shake' from 'The Tinkerer'. Just a dirty, techno fonkin, poppin, lockin ass shaker...Twerk fummy. 

Anyway, up until about 10 days ago, it was the second track on the album...now, it's a bonus track or sumn. I dig it, personally, but had to accept that within the concept of the ALBUM I was trying to make, it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. 

I moved it around in the sequence, I remixed it, I rethought it...just couldn't find a way to make it work for 'LOWER' when it was all said and done...

...still want y'all to hear it tho...
