Can Men like us go to Heaven? was recorded at Damien Gerards Studio by acclaimed Russel Philling and paints a portrait of the alcohol soaked lifestyle of Ruth Carp and his all Australian piss head mates. Often described as 'Heroin Chic' the band balance a lofi style with smooth angelic breaks that create images of walking through a feild on a sunny day. CMLUGTH is the groups second major release and consists of eight songs, two of which 'I'm so Scared' and 'Dylcore Millionare' are to be released as featured singles over the period of Feburary and March 2017.

Ruth Carp and The Fish Heads "I'm so Scared" is the featured single on the groups new album "Can Men Like Us Go To Heaven" and offers insight into the evolution of one of Australias most refreshing bands. The unique single is about a time when Ruth Carp left his sick brother waiting in hospital bed because he was too afraid to go outside. To coincide with an international digital release the band are going to release a film clip produced by the infamous skate filmer Jordan Michels, who captures Ruth Carp's isolationist attitude at a house party in Sydney's iconic suburb of Newtown. Along with the rest of Ruth Carps works the new track was recorded at Damien Gerrards Studio by Russel Philling where other hit music was recorded by artists such as "The Hoodoo Gurus", "Big White" and "FlowerTruck" and has become a staple studio for the Australia music industry.

Ruth And Brian's Unholy Matrimony is a split EP made up of a selection of unreleased songs from independent Sydney bands Ruth Carp and The Fish Heads and Dead Brian. Recorded by Bowen Shakallis (Dead Brian, Big White) and mixed by Michael Grossman (frontman of Den) at their co-run Faversham St Studio. Engaging with themes ranging from the banality of the everyday to alcoholism in working class Australia, the EP represents a cohesive collection of songs that allow insight into the worlds of these two Sydney based bands.
