Born and raised on the Island of St. Maarten, artist and songwriter Rico has honed his musicality and style over time, working his way up to become the story teller and contemporary performer we see today. 

His dream is to be a voice for the introverted, for those who share a similar story and background. His music speaks volumes on behalf of this, seeing the artist fuse unwavering honesty with poetic observation and a deeply human overtone in every case. 

Currently based in London, Rico has plenty of music and videos in the pipeline, incorporating elements of many genres from hip hop to classic RnB to modern pop. 

Always leading with honesty, Rico’s personal journey has been one of hard work and dedication to improving his song writing. Currently able to lay down five or six new songs in a single day, that focus and refusal to quit proves all the more worthwhile with each new release. His fascination with musicians and music’s history has helped keep the fire alive, inspiring Rico to stay immersed in the world of music.
