"Discovering The Waterfront" has always been one of my favorite songs since high school. It's just now that I realized that its chords are attainable for the forever novice guitar player like me. It's also just now that I realized that the song's lyrics have meanings that apply to my current situation. Truly a catharsis that I needed right now.

Paramita was the first ever band I saw (on MV) with a female drummer (and not to mention, also their lead vocalist!) in its roster. Also, "Hiling" is a very heartfelt song for me because I can relate with its message. I think its a song about dying love of one in a couple. Or something along the lines of the love was not as strong as before.

Good thing, I recorded this last night. Today I kept telling my brother, "Wala na tayong 5th. Wala na tayong 5th!". Which is sad because I cannot produce E minor's sound as of the moment.

We used to be one of the biggest fans of Hale. One time we even had a copy of their album signed during their gig near our place. The band's no longer active (we'll be glad if soon they still will, though) but their songs such as The Day You Said Goodnight, Magkaibang Mundo, Hide and Seek, Waltz, Starting Over, including my pre-covered Shooting Star, will always be few of the most well-versed romantics.
