Entourée de monstres marins, cette mention était inscrite sur les cartographies médiévales, là où l’homme de ne s’était pas encore aventuré, ou alors, d’où il n’était jamais revenu.

Les sentiments exacerbés de l'expressionnisme, le clair/obscur des Films Noirs, Les codes de la dystopie, l'arsenal des films de gangsters... Voilà quelques pièces de mon puzzle, du référentiel qui m’a permis de faire ma catharsis.

On part d’un ciel sombre pour enfin entrevoir une éclaircie, et à la fin du projet, j’atteins les rivages de Shell Beach, allégorie de l’accomplissement. Ce moment précis où, ayant eu sa petite victoire, on se sent enfin heureux. Avant le prochain combat, car tout n’est que cycles.
