Poolteist aastat tagasi alustanud "Kuldne geim" vahetab tänasest suunda ning asub persoonikesksete üllitiste asemel pakkuma kuulajatele päevakajalist jutusaadet, kus võetakse kokku möödunud nädala tähtsamad teemad Eesti ja Euroopa võrkpallis.

Saates hakkavad iganädalaselt ringlema viis võrkpalliga tihedalt seotud meest: kuulajatele juba tuttavad Andres Toobal, Rivo Vesik ja Karl Rinaldo ning uued liikmed Renee Teppan ja Urmas Piik.

Kolme erinevat Euroopa tippklubi ridades Meistrite liigas osalenud Teppan naasis tänavuseks hooajaks Tallinna Selverisse ning patt olnuks temasugust läbi ja lõhki maailma võrkpallis sees olevat meest sel perioodil kasutamata jätta. Piik on võitnud palju medaleid aga rannavõrkpallis ja saalivõrkpalli esiliigas ning tõestas augustis meie saadet väisates, et tuleb ka oma arvamuse avaldamisega kenasti toime.

Uue formaadi avasaates lähevad nelja pikema teemaga eetrisse Toobal, Vesik, Rinaldo ja Teppan.

Jutuks tulid muuhulgas järgnevad teemad:

*Kes kvartetist oli noorpõlves ülekaalukalt kõige kõvem laulumees?
*Kas kõik võrkpallimaailma suuremad tähed saavad spordivälisel ajal normaalset elu elada?
*Läti koondis pääses EM-ile. Kas seda tulemust tähtsustatakse üle või mitte?
*Kas Läti koondis võiks võita Tallinna Selverit?
*Mida näitasid EM-valikmängud Pärnu meeskonna tulevast hooaega silmas pidades?
*Kas Chicago Bulls oleks võitnud meistritiitleid ka Michael Jordanita?
*Läti esipaar jääb kodusest rannavolle EM-ist koroona tõttu eemale. Mis sedasi turniirist saab?
*Kas Rivo ja Venemaa koondis lendavad EM-ile?
*Robert Täht ja Timo Tammemaa pidasid Poola superkarikas esimesed ametlikud mängud Resovia eest. Mida nägime?
*Kes on tänavu Poolas tiitlipretendent number üks?
*Karikaloos tekitas kõneainet. Kas Tartu Bigbank pääseb kindlalt finaali?

Sister Anna Wray is a native of Connecticut and a member of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia.  Sister received her phD in philosophy from The Catholic University of America, having written her dissertation on Aristotle’s account of the activity of contemplation.  Sister is on faculty in CUA's School of Philosophy.

Speaker Bio:
Conor McDonough, OP is a Dominican friar from Galway. He studied science and theology at the University of Cambridge and taught theology at secondary school before joining the Dominicans in 2009. He was ordained priest in 2016 and undertook further studies in theology at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), focussing on the writings of St Thomas Aquinas and John Calvin. He is currently based in Dublin where he teaches theology to the students at the Dominican House of Studies in Dublin.
