If you are into Techno Music, you may have already come across one of D.A.V.E. The Drummer’s records. 

Hailing from London’s illegal warehouse party scene that exploded in the 90’s, DJ & producer D.A.V.E. The Drummer started the label Hydraulix in 1998 as an output for his own production ideas. The label intended to bridge the gap between the acid techno of his previous productions and a darker style of techno that D.A.V.E. was experimenting with in the studio.

 Hydraulix made some big waves in the Hard Techno scene throughout the 2000’s and is still going strong with many of the new releases hitting the top spots in the Beatport Charts. Tracks from Hydraulix have found their way into the playlists of some of the worlds top DJs as well as keeping a huge following of underground Techno DJs across the globe.D.A.V.E’s recent music reflects a shift toward a darker stripped back techno sound and the label is still at the forefront of the techno scene winning respect from many DJs and taking on board fresh young artists as well as releasing tracks by seasoned Hydraulix regulars.

Still a hard working DJ and Producer, & currently running his weekly Sunday Session show during lockdown with wife Justine doing visuals D.A.V.E. is responsible for remixes and productions for many top techno labels including: Suara, Dolma, Finder, Techburst, Harthouse, Fine Audio, Noom, Reklusive, Respect, Naked Lunch, Phobiq, Elektrax, Techburst, Cluster, Stay Up Forever, Maximum Minimum, Routemaster, Smitten, Prolekult, Nucleas, Vcious Circle and of course Hydraulix, Apex and Mutate To Survive.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the German dj & producer Mørbeck (Code Is Law).

Since his early youth Berlin born Mørbeck was involved in the club scene of the German capital. 
Inspired by 90s Hip Hop and Techno he set up his first studio in 2002 and began producing music of both genres.
In 2013 he founded his own imprint Code is Law as a platform for his own music and for artists who shared his vision and passion for Techno. 

The love for the art and the striving for versatility can be observed not only in his work for the label but also in his DJ sets.
Besides playing at numerous clubs and festivals all across the globe, he was also a resident DJ at Monasterio(Moscow) and Stattbad(Berlin). 
More recently you can find him playing formidable back to backs with close friend Under Black Helmet.

The 'German Wizard' delivers an exclusive mix for our Christmas slot, transitioning between dreamy swirling landscapes and more rough & constantly evolving techno, that will transport you to a place where time stops and dancing reigns supreme.

If you say this to Shaleen she will very likely punch you in the nose. Since her early beginnings behind the wheels of steel she has continuously had to cut her own path in the Techno Industry, and ever since then, has not been one to give off control to anyone be it by brutally honing her craft or stamping out her own party series “SURD". 

However hearing her play or listening to her tracks it is still obvious that the “Ruhrgebiet” has not let her relocate to Berlin without a deep impression. Heavy,
chugging, steaming and calculated it is reminiscent of the heavy industry machinery, the area is known for. 

So it is with this introduction that we are very happy to announce that she will be joining our posse and release her Debut on SEELEN in 2019. Just don’t
tell her what we wrote here, we like our faces intact.

In the past years Alignment surfaced as a new name on the German techno scene. The DJ and Producer with real name Francesco Pierfelici was first signed in 2016 by Berlin based label Voxnox Records and is to this day one of their core artists. Besides Voxnox he released EP’s on labels such as ARTS, Flash Recordings, Eturia Beat, Konstruktiv and Involve. 

The meaning of the name Alignment is found in the concept of inner orientation. A journey of the dark corners of one inner self. His music which is defined by dark baselines, pumping Kickdrums, sinister industrial noises and reverberating synths brings his vision to life. The music puts you into trance and makes you feel like raving in a post apocalyptic warehouse where the party has no end.

Banking and rolling like a possessed roller coaster cart out a cryptic King-ian tale, this one pledges to unleash utter terror amongst self-obsessed poseurs, Spotify-sponsored jocks and weak-kneed easy listeners.
