Counterweight’s first release of 2019 comes by the hands of the Italian duo RVDE and includes a remix by the Spanish gringo Gonzo MDF.

Once again, the RVDE guys show what they can do best, Techno for the dancefloor full of energy with no mercy. The A-side with “Roll & Lick” and “Carousel Rampage” is highly influenced by 90’s rave sound and will bring your mind right onto the dancefloor of your favorite club or warehouse. On the B-Side, “XXX” maintains the rave flavour but this time the approach is deeper and more hypnotic. Finally XXX gets a re-built by Gonzo MDF who adds his characteristic aggressive & fast paced sound.

The insides hide the degradation of each individual as a human being,
whether insignificant moral infractions or transgressions full of evil,
weaknesses that find in the soul that labyrinthine refuge where each
person can guard their various disorders. No one knows anyone, we are
all liable to be ethically exhausted and succumb to disorientation, just
as we are all liable to be duped by our closest environment.

RE_P takes as its main influence for this double album the most unworthy of the qualities of humanity, which is nothing more than the great potential for self-destruction that has been given to us throughout our existence. Negligence, Vainglory, Abuses' delves into both the damage done and the self-imposed.

In the second part of the album RE_P, he gives all the protagonism to
the interpretations with versions elaborated by an astonishing cast of
artists. This second chapter summons great talents of the forceful and
heartbreaking techno like Raffaele Attanasio, Time Traveler, Scalameriya, NX1, Harbot, Exome, RVDE, VSK and Joe Farr, managing all of them to persevere the basic principles of the project.
