▌I Wie waren die Vorbereitung für den Mix? Woher kamen die Inspirationen?
Für diesen Podcast hab mich in der Vorbereitung ein bisschen selbst gechallenged, haha, und versucht, all das, was ich für eine Listening-Session, aber auch im Club spielen würde, im Prinzip also meine komplette Stil-Bandbreite, in einem Mix zu vereinen. Herausgekommen ist eine energetische Mischung aus 4tothefloor-Beats, melancholisch melodischen Sounds und Breaks, die aufeinander aufbauen oder sich kontrastieren und quasi kleine Atempausen in between zulassen. Mir ist die Dramaturgie in meinen Recordings und Club-Sets sehr wichtig und so inspirieren mich gerade vor allem Künstler*innen, die es schaffen, die unterschiedlichsten Tracks dramaturgisch so zusammenzubringen, als würden sie zusammengehören. Das sind zum Beispiel Djrum und Marie Montexier.

▌II Welcher Track ist für dich ganz besonders in deinem Set?
Auf jeden Fall CZ3000 Dub von Skee Mask. Irgendwie findet sich seit geraumer Zeit in quasi jedem meiner Podcasts ein Track von ihm wieder, ich weiß nicht, ich liebe eigentlich alles, was er produziert, haha. Der Track markiert für mich den "heimlichen Höhepunkt" des Podcasts und lässt jedes mal durch seinen glückseligen und gleichzeitig aber auch leicht melancholisch und wehmütig anmutenden Charakter mein Herz hüpfen. Einfach so ein tolles Stück Musik!

▌III Wie bist du zur Musik / zum auflegen gekommen?
Als Schülerin der 10ten Klasse stand ich noch auf Schul-Partys in meinem kleinen Heimatstädtchen in Südbrandenburg auf dem Dancefloor und fand alles, was irgendwie elektronisch klang, scheiße. Kurze Zeit später hab ich dann von einem damaligen Freund gezeigt bekommen, wie man zwei Fader und zwei Jogwheels bedient und hab von da an selbst auf fast jeder dieser Schul-Partys vor allem 80er und 90er aufgelegt und mir dann Beatmatching selbst beigebracht. Mit Freunden hatte ich damals auch schon eine Crew, mit der wir in unserer Stadt jährlich ein Festival und unzählige Parties geschmissen haben. Da konnte ich dann immer ganz viel üben. Irgendwann in dieser Zeit kam dann das Feel Festival in unmittelbare Nähe meiner Heimatstadt und ich dachte - elektronische Musik - das ist eigentlich doch ganz cool! Das Auflegen begleitet mich also eigentlich schon seit ich 15 bin.

Der neue Podcast kommt vom umtriebigen @palais-palett zu uns, dem Team, das das Außengelände des Dresdner Clubs objekt klein a so liebevoll hegt, pflegt und künstlerisch verantwortet. All around good guy Julius aka Palais-Resident @sova_sova hat ein Set für uns gemixt, das seine Vorstellung vom Auflegen perfekt vermittelt. Wer schon mal bei einem seiner Sonnenaufgangs-Sets im objekt klein getanzt hat, kennt sein organisches Houseverständnis und kann den viel zitierten Unterwasser-Charakter gut nachvollziehen. Viel Spaß beim Hören und Lesen des Interviews, das einige durchaus relevante News für die Dresdner Clubkultur verrät.
