A Cello and Violin adaptation of Chammak Challo. There are a total of 5 separately recorded Cello layers and 5 violin. The percussion was programmed using the "Indian and Middle-eastern kit" on Logic Pro X. The raga playing at the start is Thodi but the song meanders into melodic & harmonic minor keys.

Woke up this morning singing this song and decided to go with the flow and record it in a single take. 

Mehdi Hassan is undoubtedly my most favourite Ghazal singer, and this song is one of my favourites. Absolutely loved Arijit's cover in Haider as well. My cover has influences from both the original and the Haider version. Hope you like it.
