Born and bred in Iceland, our special guest Sean Danke is now residing in the Netherlands. A true underground hero with a long history of producing house/techno records stretching back to 1995 including recent releases on Gung Ho!, Arabica, Affin, Illegal Moves and too many others to mention, that already secured him a place in the history books. As owner of a record shop and the brainchild behind countless parties, he played next to everyone from Sasha, Digweed, Kleinenberg, Warren and Josh Wink through to Dubfire, Hawtin, Burridge, Marco Carola, Felix Da Housecat and Layo & Bushwacka to name a few. Sean is now considered the man largely responsible for the clubscene in Reykjavik

Rvk Underground Podcast #02 ⎪ Sean Danke

Rvk Underground disseminates the major media in the world of dancemusic as well as focusing on what is happening in the Icelandic dance-musicscene. Our goal is to distribute the music simple and fast.

Rvk Underground will be offering various courses and training sessions, including introductory courses in all the major music software and DJ workshops. In addition, we will provide services of professional mixing, mastering, and virtual studio service, all for a good price.

Any DJ or producer can contact Rvk Underground to promote their music(without cost) and we will try our best to deliver it into the right handssuch as labels, artists and/or other individuals of the industry.

We try to cover all genres in dance music but following genres will be prominent;Techno, Dub-Techno, House, Deep House, Tech House, Minimal, Ambient,Dubstep and Drum&bass.

Soon we will launch our regular club nights and we want encourage allmusic lovers to assist us in preparation, e.g. selecting DJ's and producers for each night. We want to offer a diverse program that appeals to everyone as well as maintaining a good atmosphere.
