Signal Lost Part 2.0

Reverend D. started both mixing and musical programming for radio - it's been a few years now, let's say 15. More or less. This twin-track involvment offered him a not-for-the-dancefloor-only approach which is still relevant today. Maybe more than ever.
While being Eclectic, the boy is as much inspired by electronic music as he is by Soul, Jazz or Hip Hop. By a few questionable movies too. And some Sci-Fi stories. Yep, labels are not really his thing, which is translated behind the decks by early ventures into atmospheric Techno, Breakbeat’s drums, Grime (with Eb Kaito), until the arrival of rugged Halftime and Drum & Bass landscapes that he’s exploring today. With a personal feature : the obsession to cut, handle, edit, in short, to tinker with the tracks he plays, looking for the sweetest transition. It’s taking ages, that’s true, but is also giving some fresh hints to his sets. Even with the tracklist in front of you. Word on the streets is that his habit got him on the path of production but for now, it’s only gossip.

Since 2009, he’s heading Tales From The Crate with Fabot, a project devoted to the Scratch culture. It started first as a radio show (Begium, France and Canada) then it went on to become a video show in 2015. Okay, due to the lack of time and means the show got put on snooze, but who knows what could happen ...
While we are on the subject of working with others let's take this to a different note and talk about Grindhouse Cult festival : a joyful mess blending art, music and B-movies, managed alongside Alex Mayo, a longstanding pal and a pretty gifted artist.
