Human Rebellion

Last but definitely not least we have Human Rebellion: it is a project based on a vision of a dystopian world where humans are in resistance against a global empire that has taken control.
Totally dedicated to a powerful and energetic electro-techno based on futuristic sounds straight out of their analogue and modular synthesizers. They have been working under various pseudonyms for the last 25 years and signed their first vinyl in the early 2000s before coming back to their favourite style, Kraftwerk’s electro and everything that followed.

At the end of this year, they have just launched their own label Human Rebellion Records distributed by the always impeccable Clone Distribution.
Their first EP 'Cosmocracy' soon available in all of your favourite record stores, perfectly sums up their universe and has already caught the attention of the electro-techno chiefs such as Maelstrom, Umwelt, Serge, CYRK, False Persona, PRZ, Das Muster, Brice Kelly and many others. Keep an eye out for these two.

Bienvenidos al planeta verde, esto es Syntax AIR y hoy la caja de música brilla como las joyas que hay en su interior. 
Recién aterrizados del enorme Ombra Festival y con el segundo aniversario Syntax Electronix a la vuelta de la esquina, no hemos encontrado nada mas apropiado que dedicarle esta edición a uno de los protagonistas de Ombra y cabeza de cartel para el próximo 18 de diciembre en SYNTAX 2º aniv
Hablamos de casi una leyenda viva en las cabinas de la península, son ya 33 años en activo, coleccionista de grandes plásticos futuristas y atemporales, exclusiva selección y depurada técnica para mezclar composiciones tan diversas y a veces tan complejas de enlazar.

Producer, DJ and Label owner from Belgium - Poladroïd @poladroid-rr

Poladroïd is a project that started in 2000. After a debut on International Deejay Gigolos, the Russian went his own way and created Roulette Rekordz @roulette-rekordz, releasing artists like Scape One , MANASYt , The WeeDJs and a bunch of various compilations... He also toured Europe and played in Praha, London, Madrid, Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Bordeaux, Munich, and mostly in Belgium with artists like ADULT., Ectomorph, Anthony Rother, Dopplereffekt, Luke Eargoggle, Zerkalo and a long list of local artists...

Roulette Rekordz stopped its activities in 2007 and Poladroid took a break shortly after only to resurface in 2019, relaunching the label at the same time. In 2021 he already produced 2 EP's on his own label, but also a CD on Diffuse Reality records and a cassette release on Detriti records.

Roulette Rekordz has released on vinyl the second volume of Carjack City with Ben Milstein, Datawave, Terens K... but also digital EP's from Francois Dillinger, Datacrashrobot, Dr Floyd, Dark Prophet and RR veteran LL321.�2 more compilations are coming as well as EP's from new guests, exploring further a large spectrum of classic and, sometimes, much more unconventional electronics.

Dj habitual en la escena electrónica de Barcelona, conocido por su constante labor de difusión del electro desde hace más de dos décadas. 
A finales de los 90 empieza a interesarse por la electrónica y a coleccionar discos, en 2001 comienza a pinchar en público y desde entonces ha recorrido innumerables salas locales, nacionales y en varias ocasiones internacionales, en las que se han programado sus sesiones y las fiestas Electroclub de las que fue organizador, fiestas que fueron evolucionando en forma de colectivo para más tarde convertirse en un representativo netlabel del panorama nacional que actualmente trabaja en los recopilatorios IBEX808.
En 2017 Spy crea el sello Útil Records junto a Vema Diodes y María MS, sello que con 4 referencias editadas ha conseguido situarse en una buena posición generando una muy buena aceptación y feedback del público, continuando así con su objetivo de promover el electro y potenciando el disco de vinilo.
Tras editar varios ep en formato digital en sellos como Prodamkey, Tropical Underground, Crobot Muzik, Artifexbcn; a finales de 2019 vio la luz su primer album en vinilo: Novo Area bajo el alias que utiliza desde sus inicios para la composición y producción de temas: The Bandit.
Desde 2021 participa en la creación del sello colectivo Gente Seria Viste Chándal con el que prepara la segunda referencia en vinilo.

We continue to introduce you to new names and today we have Manta - an artist from The Hague, Netherlands with a selection of exclusively his tracks that are not released yet and are waiting to be released.

Which artists has influenced you the most?

- This is really quite diverse, I listen to lot's of different artists, obscure and more known artists. Listening to a lot of the old Tumpett label tapes right now but also the whole ecosystem surrounding Drexciya (UR, Dopplereffekt, Zyklus, DJ Stingray and various Stinson/Donald releases). If I would describe the music style I make it would be an exploration in EBM and new beat sounds blended with (Detroit) electro and ambient soundscapes. One of my all time favourite releases is Autechre - Tri Repetae.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- Still working on it!

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- My current playlist is quite diverse - from electro, ambient to doom metal. Right now I play a recent release on Brokntoys from Non Punire called Espeletia.

What inspires you now to create music?

- Mostly the machines I work with. I create all my own sounds. If I don't feel inspired I usually create my own presets on different synths and these can bring me in a certain atmosphere / vibe and suddenly a new track is finished. 

What set-up do you use when creating music? 

- I sequence from Ableton Live and use hardware and software 50/50. The Prophet 12 is used a lot, this is a dark beast but really requires programming to get the most out of it. I have some vintage synths such as a SH2 which I use often for basslines, Juno 60, MKS-50 and Korg ex8000. I exploit the reverbs from the Ensoniq DP/4 quite a lot.

The Zenobit3 lleva en la escena electrónica de Madrid  más de dos décadas, un indiscutible activista de la música electro e infatigable Dj.   
Sus comienzos como Djpitch surgen en el año 1993 y siempre abarcando diversos estilos dentro de la música electronica, desde los sonidos más industrial del ebm de los 90 como Front 242, Nittzer Ebb, Laison Dangereus, Splendor Geométrico...hasta lo más marciano en aquellos años...gente como Aphex Twin, Autechre, CJ Bolland, Robert Leiner o James Stinson.... pasando por el disco, broken beats, house, idm, hip-hop, techno, electro, D&B,ambient....pasa entonces a actuar en diferentes salas y festivales del panorama nacional.
Residente en la sala Voltereta(ALK-Madrid) desde 1995 hasta su cierre, siempre junto a Focus y DjMuerto donde exploraban todo tipo de estilos dentro de la música electronica.
Como productor ha editado trabajos en el sello DRIVECOM y SETI recordings.
