This is for the 2.3 million blacks in prison, many of them having been sentenced due to archaic drug laws targeting minorities. This is for the political elite using drugs to disenfranchise black and brown folk. This is for a society dependent on drug abuse and a media network that only spoke about it when upper-class whites became the victims. This is for me, with a hope that music may be a painkiller stronger than any pill. The Kingpen.
