Serving up their inaugural 12’’, Little Foot Records leave a big imprint with Step By Step
by Kousto. London based Frenchman, Kousto follows up his recent Low Tide release on Beats Of No Nation.

Featured on Resident Advisor and supported by the likes of Jeremy Underground, Project Pablo, Folamour and many others. Kousto former DJ and producer at Hoxton FM delivers lush deep and dreamy house music with a sound evoking the sea and golden sands of the Côte d'Azur. His first EP encapsulates this style with musical waves and analog sounds mingling to create playful, summertime vibes. The legendary Simbad aka SMBD has collaborated on “The Old Days” and “Seagull Chant”. Peter Pearson, chillout jazz musician from south of France has collaborated on “La Med”.

Kousto writes “Little Foot Records” aims to work with producers who are expecting something new, we want to learn and share our projects with our friends and people who share the same passion. The joy of listening to a great song is the only criteria. Producers have to feel free to create and dream to share their music with the world. Walking on sandy beaches of south of France has inspired my music and it will hopefully leave the print of a little foot that every artists wants to leave to our music world. Step by step is my first Ep and it is part of this movement!”

A beautiful debut from Parisien duo Mt. Rave on France's Slowciety backed by strong remixes from Map.ache, Opal Sunn and Marlon Hoffstadt. 'Temple III' is a meandering slow burner of a track slowly crafting the world and atmosphere it inhabits. Taking nearly 3 minutes before dropping into its main section of relaxing glacial synth droplets and pulsing chords. We're excited to hear more from them.

His time here on earth was done and soon he would dance amidst the heavens in a new life beyond the stress and strife of the streets below. He was a soul out of time, a man without a life to live and a floating spirit which would transcend what we ever thought to be possible down upon planet earth. It was going to be a long journey upwards but it would be worth the wait.

After his last release on Dirt Crew in 2017 we are more than delighted to bring back the talented Harry Wolfman. With impressive records on labels like Phonica, Omena, Outplay and Toy Tonics in the last years he has drawn up a fine new selection of music that spans across many genres and moods. This is also the first release for us in the new year after a lil break and it continues to explore the more eclectic approach we are following for a while now since the outings of artists like Dampé, S3A and Dan Only.

Harry presents an exciting opener for his new EP, together with vocalist Christian Crow he has made the blissful and breaks laden “poppy” good feel tune “A Way You Come Home to Me” that shines a bright light in these darker months. Followed by the deeper club tune “Step by Step”, building around yet another vocal recording. This time it’s Harry sampling his own voice and looping it into a repetitive piece of good feel House music.

We are getting deeper on the B side with “Speaking Raman”, one of these signature Harry tunes, a playful dusty lo-fi piece of music build around a piano theme and embedded in deep bass and driving beats, his sound trademark on all of these more floor orientated tracks on the EP. To close out the record we added two of his cinematic, ambient electronica works that we personally love so much. The haunting “Always 3” is a deep sphere that sucks you in a meditational and soothing womb of sounds. Ending with the electroid cut “Green Trees”, it’s broken and fragile and gives this indie-tronica track a warm and gentle touch.

We hope you enjoy these tunes and that they may be your soundtrack to the upcoming warmer months.

Residing in Copenhagen and having been DJ'ing professionally for more than 10 years, Toke is a passionate and driving force of the Copenhagen club scene. Besides dj'ing Toke is also a producer who has had his fingers on collaborative white label projects as well as independent releases. He has released under his own name on DISR but is mainly focused on his dj project Ryan Dank which is all about organic and sample based funk- deep- and disco house music.

Having held residencies at the best clubs in Copenhagen like the infamous, now closed, Dunkel, Jolene bar and Culturebox, as well as having played overseas in various european cities, Toke has been around the block.
He has a strong vision and attitude towards music, which is his gateway to mediate energy from behind the booth. He seeks to create a common ground through his music and lives for the special bonds that are created on a dance floor between the artist and the audience.
Toke is also behind the former Danish DJ-collective Lovestomp, and is now a part of BGM8S Collective which seeks to serve this purpose by hosting various electronic music events in and around Copenhagen.
