A wonderful easy to the ear piece of music by Thds with their track Botânica off their upcoming EP Panacea. This is a pure sunset grooves track, summer time vibes, feel good music putting a big smile on your face. An absolute pleasure to premiere this track being released next week.

thds is a teamwork between Belgian-Portuguese multi-instrumentalist ‘Raoul’ and Belgian-Colombian vocalist-percussionist ‘Pierre’. Growing up in the same Jesuit forest school, they have developed a natural and resourceful brotherhood. Being influenced by their own cultural roots, they harmoniously combine acoustic and electronic music with organic world music.

The duet is obsessed with simplicity. Their musical will is to reduce superficiality to quintessence: life, nature, truth. Therefore they experiment around the themes of happiness, ecology and multiculturalism.

The two brothers started thds in April 2017 with a documentary video about their childhood city of ‘Luik’. They released ‘Peace Green’ in late 2017 on Lump Records (Chile-Mexico) and 'Walonreye' on Akumandra (NYC-Mexico) in 2018.

On this EP we have also 2 beautiful remixes from Lerr (Montenegro) & Rabih Rizk (Lebanon).

PREMIERE: thds - Botânica (Original Mix) [Wanderlust Musica]

I'm a U.K. based composer of production music for film, tv, adverts and interactive multimedia.  I'm published by Felt Music, Epitome Music, Manhattan Production Music and Asche and Spencer. 

Learning piano and keyboards from an early age, I graduated in Music and Audio Technology before going onto work as a musician and engineer for a number of years. Having honed my production skills in this field, I then moved into soundtrack music and composing music for picture, which is my true passion. 

My credits to date include the trailer for the Official video game for the Olympics (London 2012) by SEGA and the Ubisoft trailer for The Prince Of Persia Shadow and The Flame remake. I also have licensing credits in the UK, USA and across Europe with SKYSPORTS, BBC, ITV1, ITV2, QVC, Channel 4, ESPN and Channel 5 to name a few, on major television programmes such as Around The World In 90 minutes, Coast to Coast, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Ivory Wars and Wanted Down Under.  

I have composed music for major advertising campaigns including McDonalds Taste of America and the for the final film in a multi-million pound advertising campaign for Weetabix, starring Mo Farah. 

In the games and VR industry, I composed the music for 'Reverse The Odds', an Emmy award winning and BAFTA nominated mobile game developed by Maverick Television and Channel 4 in association with Stand Up To Cancer. I have recently composed music for the VR and 360 degree cinema experiences in the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium as well as within the Lusail Stadium, which will host the next World Cup Final in 2022.
