A fun song written 9 years ago and it's eventually come to fruition now.
It is about the way I feel when I'm single for an extended period of time. I actually LOVE being single and I don't need to be with someone to feel validated. The lyrics are very sarcastic and more or less make fun of how I see love when I am not in it :)

An ode to traveling (especially by train!) and the feeling of freedom that comes along with it!
This track was previously recorded as a demo 2 years ago, it has been completely re-recorded.

Train Ride

I wrote this song 15 years ago when I was 18 years old. My life was starting to take a turn for the better and while, for years, night-time was a time for reflecting on the past, for the first time it became a time for looking inside to find hope and the strength I needed to look to the future.
I've decided to finally record it as it both represents a milestone on my way to becoming who I am today and a reminder that when it's just "me and the night" I can still find hope and strength within myself.

I wanted to write a song about self-empowerment but in a unique perspective, not in the overdone "I-am-amazing-&-beautiful-and-I-should-love-myself" kind of way.
The lyrics are a list of some aspects of my personality, mainly all the flaws I've embraced over the years.
I've worked hard to accept who I was and I am proud to say that I know who I am, flaws and all.

2 years after completing the project, it still holds a special place in my heart as I literally put all the feelings I had in the music and lyrics.
The album is a story about someone that I used to know. I fell in love but the situation was complicated. The songs describe all the emotions you go through during all stages of an impossible love.
The flirting, the confusion, the desire, the denial, the acceptance, the confession, the sadness, the hope to let go, the way to recovery.

As a Sonic games fan since childhood I stumbled on a YouTube channel from someone who creates (amazing) dance remixes from Sonic games music. I actually rediscovered my favourite Sonic 3 music in this brilliant remixed version and instantly fell in love with it. After a few listens, I started humming a melody without realizing that it was my own song "Me, Myself & I". I had actually just started working on a remix and decided to use the Plama3Music track instead as it fit so perfectly.

(Out of respect I did ask for his authorization to use his version 2 years ago but he never replied)

Stay Away

I wanted to create an instrumental that would be reminiscent of the particular feeling that we all get when the first days of Spring are finally here. I chose to write lyrics in line with the theme that I incorporated in the music. Some people may relate and feel that they are about that special someone in their lives but to me, it is about rebirth and getting back in touch with a part of myself that I came close to losing. The lyric "It just can't get any better, when we're together" is actually about me finding myself again. "Only you could understand that I've conquered so much pain before I could laugh" simply means that only I know what I had to endure before I could eventually enjoy life again.
In both cases, it's about celebrating the moment when we feel complete and can eventually appreciate the beauty of the most simple things such as the Spring sunset, whether happy with that special someone or with yourself.

Music has always been my saving grace, it has helped me through the darkest and most hopeless moments of my life. Music gave me an emotional outlet, first as a listener when I was a child then as a "singalong-er". Music could make me cry out of sadness and out of joy, it was only natural for me to gravite towards writing my own little poems that turned into song lyrics as a teenager. I had to wait until I was 21 when I bought a keyboard to start creating my own instrumentals. I never had time to learn how to play but my creativity literally exploded from finally being able to create the sounds I kept in my mind for years. I later turned to producing my own songs on my computer as it is easier and full of possibilities. I never really pursued a career in the industry as music is first and foremost a personal outlet. On the off-chance that I would have been signed sometime along the way I never would have been able to compromise my vision.

Years later, I'm in the middle of writing and recording "Me, Myself & I" which I started working on 3 years ago but life got in the way and I found myself not knowing what I felt or how to express my emotions anymore. Thankfully, I eventually reconnected with my inner child, that little guy inside that just won't quit and here I am writing music again. This project holds a special meaning to me as for the first time they are truly about myself without external interferences such as love and the hardships that sometimes come along with it. It's about who I am, here and now.

As always, music remains my saving grace.
