Alain M. proudly represents the 613. His weekly podcast, 
Ottawa Prog Vibes, consistently charts on Mixcloud’s 
Canadian Top 100 and has a loyal, global listenership.

people know that the sound is from here, it’s part of the

Inspired by prog rock, early Dutch techno, 1990’s trance 
and New York house, his tastes have evolved towards 
progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.
Over his 25+ years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes.  His live events, organized only a few times annually, are a hypotonic, transformational experience for attendees, putting the Nation’s Capital on the map for electronic music.  He is working on live and broadcast projects through the difficult COVID lockdowns, always as permitted by applicable health restrictions. Alain M.’s work attracts fans of DJ’s like Hernan Cattaneo, Sharam, Dubfire, Nick Warren,

The podcast, now a known entity in Canadian electronica,  is Ottawa Prog Vibes. The podcast has grown to also include, every second week, guest mixes by national and international DJ’s. The roster of national DJ’s is selected to prioritize and showcase Ottawa-based DJ’s who are working tirelessly to put our city on the global electronic music map. International guests are chosen among the rising and most promising proponents of the progressive genre. An offshoot series, called Mellow Prog Vibes, is released occasionally and focuses on more chill vibes, slightly more downtempo, to create a more relaxed vibe.
More recent covers have either Alain M.’s wordmark or the name, photo, city and flag of the guest DJ.Ottawa Prog Vibes has been charting among Mixcloud’s Canadian Top 100 Electronica shows for quite some time, reaching into the top-20 range a few times.
Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. He is a resident on UK-based I’m Your DJ Radio and a regular 
contributor on X-Beat Radio (France, Belgium). His OPV episodes are 
broadcast weekly on Quantum Radio FM in London, UK. He has appeared as a guest on Amsterdam’s Melodic Deep Talent Podcast; Buenos Aires-based Nube Music Sessions on DI.FM and La Plata’s Neuronal Trip radio show in Argentina; Abyss Sound Experience on QuestLondon Radio in the UK;Progressive Barcelona in Spain and on Progressive House Perú.

Nanofeel (Zsolt Golarics) and Peter Csabai are two Hungarian DJ/producers, Zsolt is from Isaszeg and Peter from Székesfehérvár, produced many tracks and performed in Budapest, that is how Peter found him when he was looking for tracks for his Frisky Radio show, and they started to work together as NPC. They both spent time on Saturo Sounds Radio as well, now they made their first EP, Vision with remixers Christian Monique, Ingo Vogelmann and Reelaux, it was published by Pro B Tech Music with great support from Nick Warren, Paco Osuna, Joseph Capriati and many great artist.

I was born in Chicago . My biggest influences of the time were from labels like Motown which was huge. R&B was an influence. The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, BlackSabbath,and many others. When the 80's rolled in disco was waning from center stage and Electronica and Techno, and many other underground genres started to rise. House, Tech House, Deep House. The energy pulsating from the speakers and the magic of what the club DJ's were doing on those turntables (and later on Jog wheels) to make these remarkable blends, transitions, cuts, loops... OMG!
Moved? Hells Yeah. It was... magic to me and my very soul was touched and became an intricate part of the genre that would become a musical passion.
Listening to hours-long DJ sets on some of Chicago's biggest club radio stations was an amazing turn of events that would later on direct my attention to the DJ controllers.
It would be some years before I had the opportunity to perform as a DJ in some live streams performances and host in person events once I settled in PA.

Bio:
There is nothing more deep to a person than their music. Ryan has had music in his soul since early childhood. Lessons, different instruments, music was a big part of his life from the start. He fell in love with the Chicago House sounds back in the 1980’s. Experience with live (Toronto clubs) and radio performances on vinyl spinning, the first creations in the house scene until life steered him down another path. But there was always the love for the music. He moved with the 90’s and the next decade. Then one fateful evening on a tall ship in Toronto Harbor 2014 he heard the new sounds, techno but with the hints of deep and progressive……melodic! “I consider house or electronic music, deep, progressive, ethereal and melodic all to be in a renaissance period.” That is what brought him back to the music? Elements of melodic and ethereal melodies mixed with deep techno sounds and hard but stabbing baselines. The Goal: create a period of time that you can get lost in, over and over if you want. Like an addiction carrying you out, beyond and back again.

ION - Cassini's Last Dive (Guest@Cosmic Journey - ep. 11)

IONized series debut on Satrusounds.com. Excellent feedback and wonderful comments. 

This set was special for many reasons. First off, my guest mix which is located below in the Saturo Guest Mixes & Activities Playlist was done by my good friend Mihai Negru. Hailing from Cambrils, Spain, Mihai was the one that introduced me to Saturo and I did guest set for him a few months ago for his show Cosmic Journey. It only seemed fitting.

There is more ClawzSG in this set because I donated to his cause for a friend that is sick with rare form of cancer and he donated these 2 tracks to raise some money for him. AorMos began as a DJ when he was 15 years of age and enjoyed playing electronic music more than two decades. In the beginning he was playing with the nearest sounds to the scene of House, to give a jump to Minimal at the end of 2000. And that year he got interested all the slopes of Techno, from its purer roots, spinning the more melodic vibes, deep sounds, and progressive aspects and looking always at producers and record labels that offer great quality in their productions.

Toko aka Gefangen Intrance, brought emotions and subtle tones that really impacted the show the last night. I am so happy he came on the show. Many Thanks Toko pal.:))))))

Gefangen Intrance aka Toko, short for his real name Torsten Koths, started collecting cassettes in his early childhood and later switched to vinyl. What started with cellar parties in the parents' home, evolved into an adult age to hang up in the NRW Clubscene as well as in the trendy Poison Club at the Dusseldorf main station. He was most influenced by the New Wave era and the then Scene Club Tribehouse in Neuss.
This time he experienced with one of his best friends. Together in the club scene they were trapped in music and in a trance. After his boyfriend died in 2010, Toko decided to change his name to Gefangen Intrance. As it was a great desire of the two to make music together, Toko decided for a fundamental change and brought the site gefangen Intrans to life . His passion and devotion to music is greater today than ever. With each set, he wants to tell us a story and take us on a journey through space and time.

Have been playing music ten years ago in the best places in Gran Canaria and some place to Madrid and Bilbao. I return to the music scene like a producer, after many years, with the utmost humility and starting from zero. I can not live without music and I think I still have something to say about. If I am capable of transmiting a little of what I feel, I´ll be very satisfied. Hopefully everybody, but only be once in the live, you could feel the same thing myself when It played music.... and when danced.

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie is introduced to music as she grows up practically in the recording studio own by her father. He quickly transmits his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter. 

In her late teen, she discovers Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Funky House, Jackin, Electronica, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno, Hard Techno, Tech House and Atmospheric DnB ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds ;)

Since February 2015, Julie host her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and DJ/Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’ here in Canada. I personally have been a huge fan of my Canadian sister. It all started when he received a Djembe from his Nonno in the late 1990s. Dylan, a child at the time, would entertain his family by hitting the drum & dancing. This was his first memory of entertaining & expressing himself through music. Later, Dylan joined his school choir & marimba band in Phokeng - North West, allowing him to expand his creativity through music & art. When he finished school Dylan moved from Rustenburg to Johannesburg. Here he was exposed to a different lifestyle, giving him a bigger perspective on clubbing culture & electronic music. He would spend long hours every weekend exploring diverse underground music communities. Dylan instantly fell involve with the dance floor, a place where diversity is united in celebration of music.
Dylan began to form relationships with DJ’s & other artists, eventually influencing him to move to Cape Town & pursue a career in music. He studied at Cape Audio College for a year before entering the events industry as a DJ in 2016. Since then, Dylan has influenced the Cape Town scene by consistently delivering groovy-high-pressure sets. He has landed gigs across South Africa & has played at well-established festivals such as Sexy Groovy Love, Kinky Summer, Feastival & Equinox Experience. He has also performed at some of South Africa’s hottest venues, which include Truth Night Club, Mødular, Reset, Grand Africa, Shimmy Beach Club, & The Living Room, to name a few. Dylan is also a Sunday resident at Deus Ex Machina in Hout Bay, as well as an influencial member of the OG Collective at Growing OGs.
 
It's safe to say that Dylan Munro will make you move.
