Wow, feels like the dust from 19th just settled after this amazing re-opening night.

  The set was our first B2B as CILLE & PAHLM and after yet another covid-lockdown. We endorsed so many different emotions preparing this set and wanted to take crowd on a journey this very special night. 

We have missed DJing so much during bigger parts of the pandemic. For the bigger part of it our ears has been quite “dead” really - music doesn’t sound the same when you´re not able to share the experience with others.  

To once again be able to DJ - go out and dance and experience the wonders of the night with amazing and beautiful people - its not possible to describe with words…  

It was hard to put together a set that describe the explosion of emotions we have felt during this two year long pandemic, and still respect our slot time, but we believe we pulled it off. The set really turned out as a rollercoaster in energy - a lot like what the last years felt like for us. 

We had the 2nd slot of the night, and thanks to a beautiful entrance from @KevinGranstrøm the floor was already warm and just kept getting more and more crowded as the night went in. It was our pleasure to hand the controls and a hot floor over to @itsblankpattern who rocked the boat, before @matiago closed the evening out with an amazing set. 

Again, we want to thank everyone that came and shared this fantastic evening with us, and want to direct a special thanks to @matiago who made it all happen.

My DJ set with a touch of live guitar and synths from the Ritter Butzke x Nomaden showcase, opening the stage for Super Flu and Solvane on the Arctic Stage. One of the most enjoyable nights, sharing the booth with a few Berlin legends.  Lots of melodic focus in this set, driving the energy up without going too overboard - if you are here to give it a listen - I hope you enjoy - I put my heart into this one :D (Plus a couple of new original tracks sneaked in there)

🗯🗯 Mit welchen Clubs / Kollektiven bist du verbunden und wie ist die Situation bei euch? 🗯🗯

Ich bin einer der Begründer von URSL und schon ziemlich lange als ein Part von Soukie und Windish unterwegs. Amount ist seit drei Jahren mein Soloprojekt, bei dem ich meistens Live spiele aber auch auflege. Wir sind bei URSL gerade relativ aktiv, weil durch die Pandemie auch Zeit frei wird, die nun verstärkt in Label-Arbeit gesteckt werden kann. Auch wenn es eine schwierige Situation ist derzeit und viele schwer getroffen hat, für mich persönlich hat die   Phase gerade auch durchaus ihre guten Seiten. Das ist aber natürlich eine sehr persönliche Sache. Ich finde nachdem man fast 13 Jahre in so vielen Clubs sich die Nächte um die Ohren geschlagen hat, es auch mal sehr schön, dass ohne Alternative und schlechtes Gewissen alles anhält und eine gewisse Ruhe einkehrt, man weniger toxisch lebt, Zeit hat und so weiter. Ich kenne viele die sagen, dass ihnen die Pause gerade sehr guttut. Ich persönlich habe zugegeben auch Glück das ich von den Rettungsschirmen ganz gut aufgefangen werde, deshalb ist alles bei mir bis jetzt nicht wirklich schlimm. Zudem bin ich gewohnt prekär zu existieren und dementsprechend ist die Unsicherheit der Situation auch kein Stress mehr für mich. Es ist einfach prekär wie immer. Außerdem arbeite ich einfach weiter gerade im Studio und mache viel Musik, also ändert sich für mich auch nicht so viel im Alltag wie bei Anderen. Natürlich ist die Situation besonders tragisch für die Clubs, das sehe ich auch. Ich hoffe einfach, dass der Szene geholfen wird, bis die Türen wieder aufgemacht werden können und bin auch besorgt, dass da viel kaputt gehen könnte.   Ansonsten denke ich, haben wir das gröbste schon hinter uns und man kann sich wieder - zumindest was die Krankheit Covid 19 angeht - wieder entspannen, die Zahlen sehen ja gut aus. In der Hasenheide wird auf jeden fall schon wieder geraved und Techno wird eh irgendwie weitergehen.

Ryan Diefenbach is known for his expressive use of live instruments within productions and performances, to create an innovative blend of organic and progressive house. 

Originally from Australia, Ryan honed his skills as a performer in some of Sydney's most iconic music venues, later developing his DJing over several years in Berlin and eventually incorporating guitar and other instruments into his live sets.

Now based in Oslo, Norway, Ryan has deeply established himself in the country's electronic music scene. Between his performances at some of Norway's top clubs and support slots for major international acts, his sonic voyages have become a staple of the local nightlife. 

Ryan's signature sound has also carried over into his productions, with releases on Cafe De Anatolia and Wold Records but as every set is completely unique, it’s best experienced in person from the dancefloor.
