"I used to envy people who really knew how they felt about things. Whether they were extremely happy or sad, extremely confident or afraid. I felt like they were really experiencing life. All the highs and all the lows, y'know, everything. I felt like they were seeing all these colours and tasting all these flavours while I was over here looking at a bunch of grey shit and eating boiled cabbage all the time. But that all changed when I learned about sea turtles. You know the ones that can live for hundreds of years? I was like "fuck yeah, I'm like a sea turtle". It doesn't seem like I really feel or do much but at least I'll live for a long time. Which is cool, I think. Or not. I don't really know how I feel about it."
