"Never the Same" is the first release by the Berlin-made and Bangkok-based producers Ryan & Goldwyn. The song is built from the ground up, and draws inspiration from a true love story.

The idea for the song came from a relationship that wasn't meant to be, through the circumstances it was impossible to make it work. The vocals were sung in moments with true emotions of the foreseen ending of a romance. 

The message is, even if beautiful and deep connections have a limited timespan, it is still possible to enjoy every moment until it ends. And that's what the danceable vocal chops in the first part of the drop resemble. The heavyness of the verse and chorus is blown away, to make room for an uplifting arp in the drop melody, to transcend all negative feelings.
