Owner and boss of Finefood Records, he has been passionate about electronic music for more thirty years, Ryan Hawkin has multiplied projects and shows the evolution of his acoustic world by his artistic approach. 

Deejay, organizer, producer and composer, he dedicates the many facets of his talent to his passion.

Having played at the biggest events that were held in Switzerland around 1994 -2006, he "rediscovered himself musically" both as DJ and as a producer by taking his first steps as a composer in the late nineties with a release in 98 on a techno compilation. Ryan gradually left the world of raving and started producing more club orientated music. By getting involved in the music he truly loves - his sound became more refined and surprising.

From 2006 to 2010, while mixing and organizing parties at la Ruche Club in Lausanne and he played at the most important Festivals such as Modernity, Chocolate and les Fours à Chaux. He focused on parallel tools such as web publishing, which would prove to be useful for the development of his ongoing projects. Ryan withdrew into the privacy of his small home studio in rider to reach a kind of musical maturity, before presenting his music to his audience again.

In 2010, He began performing live and he decided to create his label Finefood Records. His amazing and innovative DJ sets and live performances have raised him to the rank of one of the most charismatic performers on the Swiss electronic scene.

In 2011, he produced tracks on Abstrakt Records in Argentina and on Arteria Music in Italy.

In 2012 he decided to leave night life and stop DJing to focus on his project Finefood Records favoring vinyl releases over digital with a solid international distributor: Deejay.de. He released his first production on Finefood Records with a Remix from Mini Jool.

In 2013 he released a first Vinyl Ep "Elegance is Destroyed" composed by Mia Kaltes and David Fjörgenson, remixed by Seph from Argentina and Ryan Hawkin himself. A second EP closely followed ; "I am Here Ep" composed by a young artist from Tel Aviv, Eran Ben Zeev. These projects were also released on Beatport as were other projects including artist such as Benjamin Fehr, SeQ, Seph, David Fjörgenson and Konpiuta. He appeared on the famous label Doma Musique with a beautiful track called "Walking Dead".

2014 sees Ryan Hawkin and his label Finefood pose its brand nicely in the underground music market with the third vinyl release, World 247 composed by Swiss artist Nelson De Jesus, remixed by Berliner artists Jens Bond, artist and producer on Highgrade Recods, Juliett a young French artist from the Glaswegian label "Creepy Finger" and Ryan Hawkin himself. The fourth, Yha Neth EP, composed by the duo ThomasT&Anish, remixed by Luca Torre and Kane Roth.

2015 marks the return of Ryan Hawkin to the deejaying and with his label Finefood Records with some new series of new Ep. SAFKA EP, out in April, made by Marco Da Mata & Ema, incl. remixes by Dan Noël, David Torr and Robie Rios and MOONWALKER EP by ThomasT & Anish out in September.

2016 the Finefood Records releases series continue with a new EP composed by the Berliner Benjamin Fehr WE FALL EP, incl. two remix by the Argentine Hernan Bass and the Swiss duo ThomasT & Anish released in February. 

In 2017, he decided to take a break from deejaying and his musical projects. 

In 2020, during the COVID, his friend Broody start the WOOD PARTY concept. The concept continues to bring together a wide range of privileged people in secret locations with lovely artists like Broody, Ame Pure, Cristo and Minimat.
