A decade of touring with some of Australia’s best bands internationally including The Drones, Oh Mercy, Sarah Blasko, Van She, DMA’s, Josh Pyke, The Snowdroppers saw Ryan behind the mixing desk at some of the biggest stages around the world. With 1000’s of shows in the pocket Ryan gained a deep insight into live performance and how band members play and relate with each other at the best and worst of times.

This experience lead to a unique style of production in the studio. Ryan is said to keep things fun, light and creative tapping into the core of the band’s dynamic always searching for authenticity from the artist. Ryan owned Ivory Lane Studios on Central Coast, NSW for 6 years with releases from The Drones, The Snowdroppers, The Fumes, Green Buzzard, IVY, The Lazys, Bridezilla amongst others. 

Also a musician and vocalist Ryan is often heavily involved in the creative process playing, co-writing and arranging with artists. Currently he is a member of touring band The Fumes playing bass and co runs a management label push.pull music.
