Over the years, Ryan Innes has developed a distinct and dynamic artistic voice. One that can be heartbreakingly intimate at one moment and soaringly epic the next. Innes is currently hard at work on his debut album, one that he hopes can capture the ups and downs of life, giving voice to the listener’s own feelings of struggle and hope. Though he has expanded his sonic palette and does not shy away from experimenting with new production techniques, Innes maintains that what is most important is the song’s ability to speak to the listener. The song, he says, is king.
