Ryan J.  is a dynamic up and coming R&B and Neo Soul vocalist. With a sound that is soulful but yet powerful. His ability to blend genres of R&B, Soul, Neo Soul has given him the ability to a new and refreshing to the music. He has a sound of old school but with a todays touch to reach audiences across the globe. Ryan J. started doing music in his middle school days but take didn’t seriously until high school. Ryan J started in the school choir and has helped became what he is as an artist today. He also comes from a musical family being influenced by his father who use to sing with Kenny G back during the 70s. Ryan draws influence from the greats of the 60s and 70s R&B/Soul acts. From the likes of Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke to your modern day people like Joe, Dave Hollister, Will Downing, Eric Benet and so many more. Ryan has been able to take all these influences and make it into his own which makes him stand out from the others. Throughout the depths of him being a up and coming act. Ryan had overcome a lot of obstacles to get to the point where he is now. He has went through rejection of promoters, artists, and people in the industry telling him who he needs to be and he needs to change who he is to fit what’s going on in today’s time. Ryan J had to overcome those insecure of wondering what type of artist he is. But never losing hope of his gift and dream to purse. His goals in the industry is to continue to make music and giving audiences the music that comes from the soul that speaks to a generation of young and old alike. To Keep Soul music alive Ryan J wishes to stay true to the art form of genre  R&B and to let those who are Soul music fans that good vocals, songwriter and music has not died but is still well and alive. Ryan J is looking forward to a long and successful career in the music industry.
