If time travel is possible, where are the tourists from the future?

I started this project around 2 years ago when i was living in Laurel Canyon, CA. I began with the goal of creating a sound that combined my love of electronic beats, ambient chill-out music, and modern pop songs, with the premise of making something unique from anything I’d ever heard. 

The first track created was the instrumental to "We Are”. After writing the song with Bianca (Bonx) and our close friend / spiritual guru Mark, I loved the vibe and decided to expand the sound across a full album. During one of our recording sessions Bonx and I turned a TFTF demo into what is now “The Mountain.” We put it out as a single and after it received such a positive reaction I decided to keep going with the lighter/tropical sound. 

A year went by and I still really believed in the TFTF project. Eventually my friends encouraged me to finish it off and put it out so others can listen. I’m super anxious to finally share the collection of music with the world but I feel like its something I have to do to move on.

I’m releasing Tourists from the Future as a moment in time, the prequel to my chill electronic sound. It’s an art project without commercial agenda, heavily influenced by themes of space/time travel and the deserts surrounding Las Vegas. I am incredibly happy with how it turned out and am proud to put my name on it.
