The Lyon based crew is pleased to introduce their first release with Notte Brigante's duo member and Kump artist: HLM38.

« House of the Sun EP » is focused on the weird and esoteric dub style of Julien Viallet's work. It explores the relationships between his love for dub music and contemporary « dancefloor » sound. It's a winding path through electro, exotica, industrial music and middle east flavors.

Future Nuggets’ s bosses label, Delusion Men, are serving a trippy first remix showcasing their ability within studio experimentations resulting in a real psychedelic curiosity.

Finally, local head, Pilah from « Dub Addict Sound System » hits hard with his more traditional dub style remix. Master at the control, skank genius for twenty years, Paul Kosmik knows how to make it heavy and deadly!

“It’s not easy to transform a jam into a proper tune that haunts forever. The two Glaswegian friends MR TC and Lo Kindre are in possession of that special skill that can transform spontaneous tuned-in music into something significant without losing the gut feeling along the way.

As solo artists they have released on labels like Optimo Music, 12th Isle and Against Fascism Trax, and together released 'The Storm EP' in late 2018 on Vienna's Neubau. Now they continue their collaborative work on PHASE001 – an EP that also marks the launch of their own label that listens to the same name. The start-up brings four analogue tracks that courageously link cold waving synth-shocks, neon-light nonchalance and haunted spoken words; deep hypnotic musical witchcraft that peels itself out of the history of dark electronic music with a pulsating and haunting atmosphere.”

When Laura (Ondula) makes jokes out of my kind of extravagant elegance, or about her elaborated saturday-night hair-style, she says that’s “macadam mambo”! When I first listened to her saying this I found it very appropriate.

Sacha Mambo, the man who together with Guillaume des Bois, started the notorious label Macadam Mambo, has been one of Diapason highlights. During the past years Sacha and me were part of the same international underground party scene and ended up putting out a couple of my most known releases, which preluded to the most recent EP “That’s when the Animals turned into humans” made with Laura under the name As Longitude and featuring Twoonky and Paul Arambula. If I remember well, Laura, Sacha and me made the agreement exactly in mid July 2018, in Berlin, just before the night at Sameheads began.

The recent lockdown forced Sameheads to cancel our latest two episodes. Shifting to this hidden virtuality, we want to keep the tradition alive and have reached out to some of our past guests and assembled a Diapason Compilation Tape Vol. 1 featuring new music from some of the artists who inspired us.
