Shamanic Tales is thrilled to host Tim Sensient and Zenon Records with a compilation showcasing Zenon's musical vision. We believe that a musical shamanic tale must be diverse and break formulas. Therefore, we start a series of compilations where we host labels whose musical vision we respect, appreciate and love in order to expand musical horizons and open minds to different soundscapes. Zenon Records was founded by Sensient (Tim Larner) in Australia in 2003. In a very short time, it established itself as a hallmark of quality music and gathered a dedicated following. While its musical vision is diverse, it is also distinctly its own, so much so that the label's name has become synonymous with its own Psytrance sub-genre for many. A estética deste EP explora a dualidade entre os sons orgânicos e sintéticos que compõem o Psytrance. As três faixas propõem uma jornada melódica que questiona qual é a barreira conceitual que separa os elementos naturais e não naturais da música e qual é o efeito desses elementos na pista de dança. A combinação de atmosferas orgânicas e melodias misteriosas com uma linha de baixo presente e imprevisível cria uma paisagem sonora ideal para o dia ou começo da noite.


The aesthetics of this EP explores the duality between organic and synthetic sounds always present in Psytrance music. This 3 tracks propose a melodic journey that question what is the conceptual barrier that separates the natural and the unnatural elements in music, and what is the effect of those elements in the dancefloor. The combination of organic atmospheres and mysterious melodies alongside the strong unpredictable bassline creates an excellent soundscape for the day or evening.

The Ryanosaurus sound is a monstrous mix of phat baselines, glitchy soundscapes, emotive melody and a sly playfulness. It walks the line between progressive and full on psychedelic trance, with frequent forays into foreign styles and influences.

The project begun as a place to release the solo work of Ryan Whare from Australia. With a drive for interesting but crisp and powerful production, the psychedelic trance genre was an instant attraction. After years of cutting his teeth on the Australian circuit and writing with Mr Bill for his duo project Electrocado, Ryan begun releasing Ryanosaurus, and quickly built up a following for his unique style. He has now had releases on labels around the globe such as; Zenon, Iboga, Kinematic, Merkaba, Hommega, Gravitas, Glitchy Tonic, Another Psyde, CCR, Insonitus, UP, Maia and Hass Records.

His touring record is extensive across many of the nicest festivals around the world and he tours regularly through Australia, Europe and America.
